Great job, as always! I love the close-up of the system parts and system. The system won't store any air, but connecting the air valve will help you know the PSI of the beer under pressure. Plus, if you can drink the beer in a day, (friends helping), you can use the built-in air pump to serve the beer. Plus, from fermentation, you should have enough built-up pressure to serve 2 pints before needing to add more air through either CO2 or regular air via the pump. Enjoy!

Great video Pierre as always. I would be interested to see how you use this unit to brew custom beers without having to purchase the manufacturers kits all the time. Cheers!

Right! I have the same curiosity. But it is just a fermenter fermenting extracts. I think the beer will not be so good.

@@Ng7 extract beer can be good these days, but i am interested in seeing pierres thoughts on his 1st brew in this system

i cant see an issue with doing your own extract brews that are custom it would just be a matter of decreasing the ingredients to suit the desired unit and if you have a recipe building software like brewfather you could scale the extract recipe down so it will do the job.

Ga-day Pierre , that looks like a really good little system . I’ll be on the lookout for 1 if I can find the space to put it. Anyway have you heard of “ Casey’s bar & brewery “ at Penrith. Regentville rd , Penrith. He also makes & distributes fresh worts . Worth a look , you may even like to do a vid on making one . There’s quite a few styles to choose from . Keep up the good work, cheer’s 🍻

I was impressed with this unit just nice and portable. Is the power supply just 240v or is it dropped down to 12v like a car fridge?

It's a trip down brick with a range from 100- 220v dropping to 12v. If you buy outside of the states you may need an adaptor or rewire a plug for you area as I did.

Good job mate. Please look at the picobrew system. That’s why I just stayed with the Grainfather unit

Very good video Pierre , I love it and it's very interesting little unit and portable aswell. How much would a unit like this cost? I'm curious to know how much your SG was and also about how the unit regulates the fermenter pressures. Hope you got that software sorted mate , technology could be painful. Gr8 day for you mate and it nice and simple too. Happy brewing.

I believe it's around $699 AU. The app for the system however does not work

Dude !!! What an awesome machine! Fantastic. Personally, I don't sterilise the packs of sugar etc as it's going into boiling water anyway. Never had any issues 👍

Yeah I don't normally sanitize for hot water either, but we are working with cold water so I recommend in this case. Cheers

Would take an awful lot of brewing to break even on the cost savings though at $700 for the unit. It might even break before you broke even hahah.
