    13:12 Which program did you use to ferment your cider?

    Thanks for the instruction. Would it make the taste better if I use my own pressed apple juice? (Including the thick stuff that stays at bottom of my juicepress?)

      Sorry for the delay as I've been at CES! Sure as fresh is always better, but if you get a lot of trub aka thick stuff on the bottom, I'd consider doing a keg transfer or a floating diptube to avoid picking up the stuff on the bottom.

    Voss Kveik is great for cider, too 👍

      I've heard great things on using Voss for Cider, but sadly I've only used in for Ales a few times so far. Does it leave a bit of residual sweetness behind when fermenting ciders?

      @@BitterRealityBrewing Not much, had to put a bit non fermentable sweetener back in… but the cider was great in the end

    I just "brewed" a Hard Cider on my iGulu. Except I used the Yeast and Hop Extract from the Pale Ale kit. That was my "unboxing and first impression" substitution since I can't have the Gluten in the DME...
    I am curious if the hop material will cause any issue with serving.

      The hops should accent the cider. You can also play around with different yeasts and try adding some tannin and even some citric acid or acid blends to help enhance the cider flavors. Check this out as it might help you with your ability to make, and enjoy beer. - www.whitelabs.com/enzymes-nutrients-detail?id=8&type=ENZYMENUTRIENT
      You can get it in quantity pretty cheaply off of Label Peelers website. They used to advertise it as "Gluten Free" as it is supposed to pull close to 99% of those proteins our of suspension. Something changed, either a law, or a legal concern, so now it just says "Gluten reduced". I use this in the majority of all my 3 to 6 gallon batches, just in case I give a beer to someone with gluten issues. (I've got my own issues, so I hate causing anyone pain with their issues.) Lactose hates me.

    Enjoying a few of your videos I’ve seen. Would love if you added tasting notes at the end of the videos. I know that means a delay in getting your content out, but for the uninformed, it’s nice to know how close you came to 7% and if you liked the outcome from wet hopping.

      Hopefully you will appreciate an upcoming video I have with tons of local people at a brewery (some from a local home brew club) all giving their honest opinions on the Pale Ale kit! I will give part of it away, it was a huge success with the vast majority being really impressed.

    Is the system operable without the app?

    • @BitterRealityBrewing
      @BitterRealityBrewing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, 100%. The app still has a major update being worked on as I feel it has a few very minor issues and a big language issue to be completed before iGulu can really rely on the App to help manage anything. I know they are working on it, but haven't heard when it will be updated. Currently I do almost everything directly from the iGulu without the app.
