Hello, I've been watching your videos all of 2022. Trying vigorously to rid myself of all the pain I have in my neck and back. A lot of my pain comes from constantly bending over all day and looking down. So I bought a spine board. Would you have any recommendations or suggestions about it? I don't think it's working and it's quite painful. A video on your thoughts about it and other items out on the market aimed at us people with pain that doesn't actually work would be awesome so we aren't out here using our little money on items that won't actually help us.

I'm a 60 year old man and have been dealing with scoliosis since about 13 and the pain that often goes with it. Recently I told my PCP that I had back pain due to my scoliosis and he said that he hadn't heard of scoliosis causing pain. I've had him as a doctor for 15 years and I think it might be time to get a new doctor. Thanks for your videos.

Your doctor clearly doesn't have a clue. I have thoracolumbar Levoscolios with a 41° curve. I've shattered my elbow, broken my collarbone and brought 3 children into this world. I would rather experience all three of those things simultaneously than deal with the pain I am experiencing due to scoliosis.

I was in excruciating pain and about to go to the emergency room because I didn’t know what was wrong. I stumbled upon this page and after doing all of these exercises, the lower back pain went from a pain level of 10, to a pain level of about 5.
I couldn’t even sleep. I’d wake up and be in sever muscle pain. Now I know where all of the pain is originating from. I’ll make an appointment but today there’s no need to go to the emergency room. This is because of THIS VIDEO HERE. Thank for sharing these techniques!!!

See my above post if you don't like having scoliosis. It is often a bone against bone misalignment in the hip, shifting your hip forward and making 1 leg appear longer. Few chiros even know this and how to adjust it. It kills their business too.

Unbelievable! This is what I needed! I was dx as an adult with scoliosis with a mild curvature on my left side like a "C". My twin brother and I were born with polio back in the mid 50s; neither of us learned to walk until we were almost 6- 7yrs. Thankfully we had pretty good therapy back then, and my brother went on into the Navy and I became a ballet dancer, though I couldn't stay long, but long enough to really enjoy it. It helped tremendously in walking, exercise, posture, etc. But good therapy for scoliosis is somewhat difficult to find. But I'm grateful to have found your channel!❤

I'll be trying these exercises starting tomorrow morning. It's the first time I've watched a video of someone who properly takes into consideration that the two sides of muscles are different and need specific help.
I always struggle to know when I'm holding my body or back in a straight position or the correct position for an exercise, because my back isn't straight. So it feels impossible for me to know when I'm holding myself straight.
I hope these exercises will help me regain some of the mobility on my compacted side. Fingers crossed!

Just this morning, I had my husband put good ole Aspercream all over my rhomboid and I have had such pain in my lower left back. I gotta tell you that just by doing the circles, I felt a release of my right side which REALLY hurt at first but I kept doing it. I will also do the rest of the exercises as well. Who knew there were even exercises for scoliosis? So again, thank you for this. Are you SURE you don't want to move to PA? Take care and God Bless!

When you're someone like me who's JUST found out that you have Scoliosis its a huge shock to the system especially if you haven't had much health problems in that sense in the past. I'm to have x-rays to confirm it in a few week's time I think, so then its on to doing these physio exercises. To relieve the pain, strengthen the muscles and straighten the spine so it doesn't get worse as I get older and I'm already late twenties. But I'm glad we found it now rather than much further on in life.

I thought it was just the sciatic nerve due to weight gain and lifting weights but my X-ray showed mild scoliosis and I had NO idea. According to my Dr scoliosis causes no pain, I can barely walk. Can’t sleep. Can’t work. I have constant pain. This is helping but took me some time to be able to do all this because the pain is NO joke.

@@DrRowe Thank you. I can't do them all as I have limited use of my right arm after breaking it at the top in four places last year and I also broke my left arm 16 years ago and have a metal arm socket nearly to my elbow, so I can only do some. Perhaps the falls and breaks are the cause in the first place🤔I have had lots if X rays, one radiographer said that my spine is not straight, but that's it😞 should I be diagnosed and is there any treatment? I only realised when your video popped up on my feed.

Just a quick question: I've a thoracic scoliosis since the age of about 14. My rib hump is on the right side, is it correct that this side is my convex side then? My right side is stronger, my left side the weaker one. Lots of greetings from Germany and again many thanks for your great help! 😍

It's the best explanation and demonstration I found for the different special cases of skoliosis - and I like the very practicable excercises, which I can practice during the whole day, where ever I go, stand, work, wait. I felt relief within a short time. A great addition for physical therapy. Top!

I have a genetic curve in my spine. I am now 76 and in excellent condition except for the fact, as I know my fellow suffers can certainly testify to and identify with! Getting up in the mornings are not fun! Some other things you may want to try is turmeric and cayenne which you can order on line from Bulk Supplements at a reasonable price (but I would strongly suggest that you start on a small amount and give it about thirty minutes to see how your back feels - DO NOT OVER DUE THIS STUFF - but it helps me a lot!) Good luck and may God bless!

THX Doc for this info. I have Dextroscoloiosis at 25 degrees. Although varying Orthopedic opinions indicate that my right leg length discrepancy is the cause ( I believe that absolutely.... some doctors say no, you were born with it?), that discepancy is a result of a femur fracture in 1966 playing HS Football (I'm 71 now). In those days, the doctorts knew little or nothing of Growth Plates in the Bone. When the leg traction of 6 weeks was done and a Full Body cast went on for 2.5 months, the right leg did not grow - the left did. Teenage boys grow like weeds! The right leg is 1 inch shorter than the left. That has wreaked havoc with all things Spinal. The LLD was left unaddressed by the doctor and my parents. I have many spinal issues with Spondylosis and facet joint arthritis, stenosis sites in various places in the Lumbar , Cervical and Thoracic spines. OA in my hips (the left worse) , the knees (the right is Bone on Bone), ankles, neck.....systemic. The damage has been done. It is only since 2011 have I had my shoes formally adjusted with orthopedic shoemakers (not easy to find). Before that FTR, I only informally added a 1/4 inch heel added to my dress shoes and then added a 1/4 inch lift on the inside, but that was not enough to accommodate the 1 inch discrepancy. I will try these stretches to help to alleviate some of the terrible Stiffness and Chronic pains of these conditions. Moral to my story: Don't Ignore Your Body!! I did as a younger man (it took about 15 years for the lower back pains and stiffness to bother me), and Drink Water!! I never did with any regularity.

    • @michaelstarks5940
      @michaelstarks5940 ปีที่แล้ว

I don't know if you possibly have you sacrum and iliac misaligned in a hip but that simple adjustment that few chiros know cured me in 15 min. It 'mysteriously' made my right leg longer and shifted my hip forward and induced a spinal S twist and un-leveled my shoulders. Fixing this kills their business. Bugs bunny many times mentioned the sacryliac. Does medical school educate doctors in nutrition, like antioxidants to prevent cancer? The best are mushrooms. Where is the money in THAT knowledge, for doctors. I got lucky and stumbled across someone who knew what I didn't even know existed. Find one. Mine moved but I can get a freind to help me readjust if my right hip ever goes out of proper position. Good luck, sir.
