    If you really wanna nitpick the end of the main event and compare it to Diesel-Bret....as I recall JBL went through the ring and crawled out from under it. Diesel was pulled under the ring but when he came back he went back up through the hole in the ring, ergo he didn't actually leave the ring.
    I don't know if that's enough to make sense from a kayfabe standpoint, but I tried.

    So glad Conrad picked Bruces brain about this Smackdown exclusive Pay per view. Nice timing too with the Ruthless Aggression documentary series premiring on the network. I didnt like the talent contest with the divas. This was a clearly a time where talent didnt mean shit. They were hiring based on looks. Besides Michelle Mccool, the other 3 were hired based on looks. I thought this was a great show. I rated it a 8/10. It did its job of setting up storylines before mania. JBL escaping the way he did, showed he was chicken shit but stayed within the rules. If Im right, Batista was there, cause in story line we werent sure which champ Batista would face at mania based on his rumble win.

    • @thelinedrive
      @thelinedrive 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In storyline Batista was there because it at appeared JBL attempted to run him over and Batista was there to get pay back while still not set on an opponent.

    I like this episode. The stuff about Luther Reigns and Show in the cage was good. My favourite Luther match was vs Emilie Hirsh and Paul Dano in The Girl Next Door. 'You can get my girl in a porno?!?' Awesome. First time I saw the 'through the ring' spot was Tazz and Bam Bam in ECW and it was jaw dropping, just like Lesnar supplexing Show through the ring. When you see it more, like Mark Henry did, yawn. Maybe them elephants should just get a room! The cage match is special too. Adding a door adds dimension and psychology to the match and you can have a family friendly cage match compared to a brutal blood and guts match. There is a difference in matches between this one at No Way Out and to the one at, say, SS94.
