That interior looks more comfortable than my living room furniture. When I was a kid and these cars came out I wasn’t sure what to think about them but they grew on you overtime and now I just love them.
Wow. amazing condition. My first car was a used 73 Riviera. Was the "base" model I guess. Had the hubcaps instead of the "mag" wheels. White with blue velour interior. Still had the original 8 track player in it. It would get up and move with that 455. Wish I still had it. These are rare cars today.
I've owned several Rivys,one was a 73 STAGE 1 I had a lot of Kenne Bell guts put in it, what a car that was,wish I still had that beast
My dad had the same car brand new.
455 Stage 1,posi, 3.23:1. Lamp monitors, chrome wheels, VOGUES, his was not console shift. Power everything. No cruise control, but, speed buzzer. He had a sunroof. Unless installed aftermarket, ASTROROOF was NOT available that year. My dad's would leak on both sides after a carwash in winter. But, only if U braked a bit aggressive. It was brown with beige 1/2 top & interior. We traveled up & down the east coast. Mobile living room. Pretty fast for it's size & anti pollution devices. Gr8 car & video

Moonroof=a stationary transparent or translucent panel in the roof of a car. Sunroof=a solid panel in the roof of a car that slides open. Some modern cars are a combination of both. This car has a sunroof.

Wow! I had no idea that the Riviera had door courtesy lights. I kind of knew that it had some. But I don't understand why they put it on a 1971 or 72 rivieras? Have they ever did that? If so or not you can answer.
