Inoffensive, intimate, appealing, timeless. This scent is not to impress the room, it is meant to impress the ones you allow to get in your personal bubble, The ones closest to you, the ppl you care about, the ones that matter! Ysl LNDL will always be a classy, sexy, imtimate scent. Regardless of the category LNDL will always be a crowd pleaser and attention getter. I sincerely believe 20 plus years from now YSL LNDL will still be around/ relevant simply because it is a remarkable scent that lasts through the ages.

I finally picked up a 200ml bottle at a great price and I am happy that I have. I truly love the smell of this. The performance however is really soft and week. If I had paid full price for a 100ml I would have been disappointed.

I totally agree with you! My sister bought something from YSL once and received LNDLH shower gel (it had just come out) as a gift. She gave it to me, and I really looked forward to showering with it every day Lol it was so soft but kind of clean and invigorating. I’d say/add that 1: in the UK it isn’t common at all. I never smell it on anyone (and never really have) 2: as it isn’t a big projector it’s not a fragrance that people everywhere get sick of. You have to be relatively close to smell it. 3: it is a perfect balance of clean and cosy/seductive - and what woman doesn’t want a man who is clean and invitingly seductive! 4: people in the frag comm need to understand that just because a frag is ‘played out/old news’ for hardcore frag heads who are wanting something new to get excited about, that the average person in the street may never have even heard of it or smelt before. And also, as you said, it hasn’t stopped being a great, original scent. 5: I’d tell somebody to buy this over Sauvage. This is much more sophisticated imho and isn’t anywhere near as omnipresent as Sauvage. 6: that brings me to the last point. If people are still recommending frags like Sauvage which are absolutely everywhere, why are they saying that LNDLH is too common? I think we’ve probably reached a point now where younger people don’t even know LNDLH. If you are, say, 18 and wear this I think you’d stand out among your Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel etc wearing peers. Loving the vids. Keep it up 🙏🏻
Love the Cologne and it last for hours on me specially in the club while I’m working! The more I sweat the stronger it smells! I get a lot of complements on this Cologne! I have had woman walk past me over and over to smell it!

It's still fantastic. The key is that, for people with big collections, this fits a certain niche perfectly. Sometimes the overly strong, spicy, sweet fragrances that folks tend to wear in the winter are just too much and this one is a welcome relief. It's also perfect for intimate occasions where you don't want to overwhelm someone with a fragrance that they may not even like. It's subtle enough where very few people are going to find it offensive and most will find it alluring and comforting.
yeah same here I get a lot of I just want to cuddle with you type comments from my coworkers which is a lot of females ...work in nursing hahaha so its good but I feel you definitely need to bring a very masculine vibe cause this fragrance is a littler feminine but besides that ill keep buying its kinda my signature scent since no one in my city really wears cologne haha

It's funny. For many years I heard how amazing it was, so every time I was in a store I would smell it on a tester. Just hit me awful every time. This was way back before I knew as much as I do about fragrance now. I ended up finally bought it when my collection was growing like crazy. I agree completely agree. Get it, put it on your skin, Love It And Know Its One Of The Best Ever. It Truly Is. No doubt about that. ❤❤❤❤❤
La nuit still has magic with the women no doubt, but I prefer The One EDP!! It also still work with women and it's more my style and smells better to me.
So I received my 6.7 oz bottle today. Its a 4-2022 batch. Its still smells the same overall but you can tell its weaker and not as strong. as the original formulas from many years ago. The actual projection of the scent disappears after about 3 hours but its still lingering on the skin. Is it still worth it in 2023? Depends on the price you pay. I paid $120 for the 6.7 oz bottle and Ive pulled the trigger on the sprayer about 25 times today overall throughout the day just to keep the projection alive. If I were to wear it everyday, then the bottle would drain down pretty quickly but I usually only wear it 2 or 3 days a week in the fall and 1 or 2 days a week in the winter. That being said, Id say yes its till worth it in 2023 if you enjoy this scent profile.
I agree with all u said, I have a 2017 bottle and 2019 bottle can tell the difference, but the scent is the same, may need few extra sprays on newer batches. You kno what's good and think it's a clone, parfums vintage Suave I believe it called, really good also.
@@seifsamara7545 I didn't use the edt version but I have used the edp. The Edp has a cherry note, the edt doesn't have the cherry note. It smells different. I really like the edp.
I had this Parfum back in 2012. It was amazing. I just another one from frangrancenet. I was in to Parfume back in 2011 and then got on to Cars. Sold my 2005 911 now back in to fragrance to keep myself busy

I smelled the old one and the new one.....bought the new one. I think it's great. One tip....you don't have to splash it on by the gallon...a couple squirts is plenty.

Obviously everyone’s skin PH plays a role but it performs pretty good on me.

must be one that varies a lot on different peoples skin cos i bought a bottle a couple weeks ago and a good spray on skin lasts over 10 hours, admittedly with not the greatest projection but close up still smells beautiful
Iceburg32 I spray three sprays to my head, behind my ears and middle of neck near my hairline. One spray on each forearm and two sprays near my collar in the front. It’s pretty hard to over spray YSL La Nuit DE L’homme.

Well i bought sauvage last week first time and i regret it alot. It doesnt smell strong, and the smell is gone for me in 15 min. It also just smell like i just took a shower. It smells like bodywash or something. Definitely you should go for one of the others. The smell of sauvage isnt good and is a cheapy smell in my oppinion. You can easily get that same smell by just taking a shower.
Was unsure but got 200ml and love it even though its 2019 version think of last 6 months its mature smells much stronger then when I first got it but trigger happy with it but last upto 8hrs on me and I can smell it in the when I get whiffs in the air so yes every penny it's still worth it in your collection to experience. Even though formulated not smelt nothing like this so far
Mo 98 oh cool , if its cold in your country you might pull it off. In mine it's stil hot, so I go with Prada l homme (And my experience with la nuit , is not good. Terrible performance like 2-3 hours and then disappears. So test the batch that they are selling before buying )

Could YSL La Nuit work for very hot weather? Between 25-30C ( 77-86 Fahrenheit )? More than 30C I dont even like using fragrances even fresh ones. I live in Brazil so its basically 20-30C all year, could it work during the night? I dont think La nuit is a good idea for the day here lol

Honestly I think as long as it smells the same the performance doesn't matter. You can carry a travel spray to reapply which you'll need anyways for almost any fragrance(unless it's an absolute beast mode fragrance like happyland for example) after 6 hours. Even dior sauvage EDT which is known for its push and performance is unsmellable after 6 hours. Not even a full work day. I just purchased my bottle of la nuit de l'homme for someone special. I'll just use a travel sprayer if I need to reapply but I've heard from some people that it still lasts a decent 6 hours so I imagine people will be able to detect it for atleast 2 hours. Which works for me because I go on a break every 2 hours so I can just reapply when I walk out. I am just hoping it doesn't come off "Old man"ish from the powder. I bought a sample of a niche powdery warm spicey before (foux de fafa from happyland) and it smelled like old man. To the point that my entire family said it as soon as I sprayed it on.

TBH : I did blind buy gift set of YSL La Nuit De L'home due to the hype , And it 2017 bath. I accidentally sprayed on the morning and it got dizzy. So on it put me off for a while but grew on you.

About the same deal at Dillards where it comes with the aftershave. Plus you get to smell it at the counter at both stores instead of blind buying it.

Give you an advice...wear it in warm weather and go for 5-6 sprays. It will hold like 6-7 hours

must be one that varies a lot on different peoples skin cos i bought a bottle a couple weeks ago and a good spray on skin lasts over 10 hours, admittedly with not the greatest projection but close up still smells beautiful

its not weak at first it sends out a nice bubble for a couple hours and then it dies off

Iceburg32 I spray three sprays to my head, behind my ears and middle of neck near my hairline. One spray on each forearm and two sprays near my collar in the front. It’s pretty hard to over spray YSL La Nuit DE L’homme.

Well i bought sauvage last week first time and i regret it alot. It doesnt smell strong, and the smell is gone for me in 15 min. It also just smell like i just took a shower. It smells like bodywash or something. Definitely you should go for one of the others. The smell of sauvage isnt good and is a cheapy smell in my oppinion. You can easily get that same smell by just taking a shower.

What’s the difference between the spray and le parfum ?
Was unsure but got 200ml and love it even though its 2019 version think of last 6 months its mature smells much stronger then when I first got it but trigger happy with it but last upto 8hrs on me and I can smell it in the when I get whiffs in the air so yes every penny it's still worth it in your collection to experience. Even though formulated not smelt nothing like this so far

I have a 2020 batch that I will say smells the closest to the 2009 batch. This is my personal opinion based on having owned both. 💁🏾♂️

(And my experience with la nuit , is not good. Terrible performance like 2-3 hours and then disappears. So test the batch that they are selling before buying )

More than 30C I dont even like using fragrances even fresh ones.

Honestly I think as long as it smells the same the performance doesn't matter. You can carry a travel spray to reapply which you'll need anyways for almost any fragrance(unless it's an absolute beast mode fragrance like happyland for example) after 6 hours. Even dior sauvage EDT which is known for its push and performance is unsmellable after 6 hours. Not even a full work day. I just purchased my bottle of la nuit de l'homme for someone special. I'll just use a travel sprayer if I need to reapply but I've heard from some people that it still lasts a decent 6 hours so I imagine people will be able to detect it for atleast 2 hours. Which works for me because I go on a break every 2 hours so I can just reapply when I walk out. I am just hoping it doesn't come off "Old man"ish from the powder. I bought a sample of a niche powdery warm spicey before (foux de fafa from happyland) and it smelled like old man. To the point that my entire family said it as soon as I sprayed it on.
It does matter, because the price is still the same but the performance is a lot worse.
For this price I expect more than a 2 hour performance.

Is YSL L'homme suitable for dates or intimate encounters? I'm thinking of getting it instead of la nuit, as i live in a very hot humid area. The nights are always warm, never cold
L'homme is better for the date. And dolce and Gabbana the one EDP is the better for the close encounters (intimate).

TBH : I did blind buy gift set of YSL La Nuit De L'home due to the hype , And it 2017 bath.
I accidentally sprayed on the morning and it got dizzy. So on it put me off for a while but grew on you.
Always hard to beat the classics.
