I don't often disagree with chaos fragerances, but IMO La Nuit De L'homme EDP is my favorite. It's so dark, mystic and a bit leathery. It's much more mature than the other flankers.
The Eau de Parfum is my favorite of the line. I can see where it goes down a different path, however, that is exactly why I like it so much!!! Thanks bud
I actually blind bought the Le Parfum all black bottle thinking it was the one Jeremy was recommending and loved the fresh spice in it. When I found out the one he was talking about was reformulated, I tried it on at Nordstrom and didn't like it as much as I like my Le Parfum. I guess it worked out for me. I had the original clear bottle L'Homme a long time ago and also still love that one. It's a classic.
Would love to go back to the original, it was my all time favorite fragrance back in the days. Performance of the current one is absolutely atrocious on my skin though. If I'm lucky I can get 2 hours out of it and in the first 30min it's alcohol only. Never experienced a fragrance with such a poor quality. Can't justify spending any money on that. I envy the people who still experience acceptable performance and quality on their skin.
I agree. Not enough difference to warrant buying the vintage, which I do own, as well. The new formulations are just slightly fresher, and honestly I prefer it sometimes. And I get at least 6 to 8 hours from the newer bottles. Perfect night out scent.
I'd love a big bottle of the Original. Although I do have 2 small bottles, unreformulated and a new version, there's something about that big bottle I like

I don't why people say that New batches of la nuit de l'homme original eau de toilette doesn't last long? Mine is a 2021 batch but it lasts at least 8h even more than 12h on clothes. I'm happy with it. This stuff is Amazing and magical specially during date night occasions.

They are different to me, imo. L’intense is loaded w/ Iris and Violet. The dry down is really nicely blended too. The EDP is really cardamom based and more fruity than L’intense. I prefer L’intense big time over the EDP. But the EDP goes more in the direction of the La Nuit de L’homme OG.

Yeah the newer batches are weak in projection and longetivity but it's still a great fragrance! The solution is to overspray it, 10-12 sprays should be fine for 6-7 hours, if you go lower it will only last for 2-3 hours, ladies love it!
Does the EDT have a prominent cardamom note? Or is it now too subtle and watered down? I can't smell any distinct cedar, lavender or any particular note in my Edt, just a generic sweet scent!

fragrances are different to everyone... I don't get the strong anise note you're talking about. It mainly smells like pepper, fruits and lavender to me. Same here! I had to return it because all I smelled was the alcohol in the dry down. It was a huge letdown considering the hype around it.

I can smell the lavender It's quite soft and relaxing, cardamome in the opening with a touch of lemon ice tea vibe
