Take it from me, a year 13 student doing Biology paper 3 in 2 days: You’re very lucky to start looking at essay practice because you’ve got plenty of time to do a lot of essay practice; my biology department decided to leave essays till the very last thing, we only got assessed once and now the entirety of my year feels unprepared and screwed. I know that you need to know the whole content in order to do essays in order to be broad and synoptic but I genuinely would’ve appreciated if we at least started practicing structuring the essays beforehand.
@@malaakghalayini6432 I’m on completely the Same page. I get what you kinda need to go for. But structuring it and not waffling of all the importances of one thing is really hard when you’ve had very little marked practice.
Hey! I’m currently attempting past papers and checked the AQA website for previous years grade boundaries and they consistently seemed to be between 64-68% for an A* (178/260)? I was wondering if this is correct as it strikes me as low and I might be looking at the wrong data? Thank you so much for all your help!!!
Hi my paper 3 is in a few days and I just wanted to know if I can talk about the same topic but in different topics in two separate topics. e.g. if the question was on the importance of diffusion can i talk about carbon fixation in the LIR in one paragraph and chemiosmosis through ATP synthase in the next paragraph? Would that count as two marks?

Hi! They do seem very low, but are correct! It's because the mark schemes are extremely fussy so it's quite hard to get marks in the exam!
