Thank you Oil pressure is higher about 50 psi and coolant 15 psi to 20 psi when cooler fails it can blow out a coolant hose. This is what happened to me what a mess but made it home to make repairs.
I have just bought a Ford grand tourneo 11k English,The car was over heating after 2 weeks use i took it the garage the lads said the water reservoir and the oil coolant had been replaced,said the coolant and oil had mixed when the oil coolant failed and they had flushed the system out hoping it would eradicate the problem obviously it hadn't they said the system was contaminated and had caused damage to the head gasket and it would need a big job sometime in the near future i was extremely grateful and would like to share this experience with you all cheers Andrew 🍻 😁💪👍

2008 cayenne S, trying to figure out why I ha e water or coolant in oil. Coolant tank has zero oil , pulled spark plugs and they are clean and dry no water either down into the cylinder . Car has low coolant warning light because a rear passenger side coolant leak. Once the coolant tank is topped off it leaks empty with 24/48 hours . Is it possible it can just be an oil cooler? What tests do I need to do on cayenne to confirm problem. Thanks !

Hello, I have an E500 W211 2004. I opened the oil filler cap and saw brown slug looking stuff. My reservoir is fine there is no oil in coolant reservoir, but it looks like coolant in the engine. The car had an overheating issue from the previous owner. But it ran fine for me for several months after I bought it.

My 1998 Ford E250 Van 4.2 engine is flooded with water. First, we thought the water pump was bad. We changed it. While the van was not running, we added new coolant through the plastic receptacle. Hi I have a 89 Sierra sapphire motor, yb cosworth turbo. Coolant level had dropped found leak in loose pipe clamp joining turbo too hose housing in front of engine. But let out 500ml of oil from sump and green coolant was there not mixed.engine was running fine no oil in radiator or coolant on oil dipstick? What would you think is keeping? Regards brenton

Hi my name is Richard. I have Ford Fiesta 2014 model, it overheated because I forgot to close the cap after filling water, I took it to the mechanic who striped the cylinder head out and took it to the engineer for skimming and replaced the gasket but after starting it and tested it, it mixed the water with oil, we see it from the deep stick. he replaced the gasket again but still the problem continues. The car start and idle normally but when switched off and leave it for 10 - 20 minutes and start again it does not start and when you take out the spark plug, there is water there. Please help because the mechanic suggest to take out the hole engine.

Hello I have a 2000 ford ranger that is mixing water and oil. It runs fine, no misses and I was having problems with it using coolant but I couldn't find any leaks. So I kept adding coolant and checking my oil but I had no mixing of coolant and oil, yet. So I never had any signs of overeating but when I used sooo much coolant to drive 6 miles and of course checking my oil and no mixing but I was worried. I drove up my hill slowly home and no signs of overheating, I had mu hood cracked so I could watch for steam and no temp changes but I heard a tiny whistle because I had my head out the window listening and watching. But it wasn't overheating so I drove to my parking spot mind you this whistling happened 40 feet before my parking spot. So I parked and lifted the hood and everything sounded and looked ok but I checked the coolant box first and it was gone again much quicker than normal and so I checked the oil and it was all chocolatey and I could see the old unmixed oil in the window dots to check the oil, so I quickly shut her down???
i have a chevy cruze and my grandfather immidiatly went to check the head gasket, he saw that the gasket is fine and now wants to go to the mechanic to check if the whole block is bad and i dont want him to go do it because they can lie to us. i think the problem is similar to the one you showed in the video can someone respond and say if my grandfather is correct or no?

Hi guys thank you for your videos, so we had this problem. So far we replaced all the parts in this video. The water pump as well and its gasket. We did service kit and belts with the repair. However we still have ignition problem now. We got it to start sounds great. After idling for 15 minutes, could the moisture that was in engine make it look like a head gasket is blown cause of previous moisture.🤔😒. We received 0113 code at start of the repair process.
@Pat Caron the only way oil could make it to the intake would be from PCV hose or valve seals for the intake side. In your case, do you have blue smoke coming out from the tailpipe?

If the engine overheats and you have oil in the coolant. What's the cheapest way to fix this problem. Buy another engine or repair the head and fix all the gaskets and look for the crack in the head?
Hello there. Thanks for the video. I have a Toyota Previa 1996 model. I noticed over heating and the next I noticed was my engine oils became very white and coolant was constantly reducing. So we changed the top gasket and did some control of the engine top to make sure it wasn’t bend. Did all that and changed the oil and after 2days the coolant and oil continued mixing. The Previa has an internal water pump. When it fails, it dumps coolant into the oil. The water pump lives on the front of the engine and runs off of the crank shaft. Replacement is an easy fix.

It was the o ring seal inside oil cooler that is broken again, so i change it. after 1 month oil was back again in my rad. it has been the third time i change it and It makes me wondering, what make the o ring keep broken? Maybe incorrect installation? putting too much stress while installing the O ring or the other part is not clean and has some sort of burr that breaks it after a period of time. ( not a car tech, but simple thinking)

Man these modern day engines are so cramped and complex. You gotta remove 5 things at least to get to the simple thing that needs replaced..thats after diagnosing problem with hi tech equipment only the shops carry... this is why my 2 70s vehicles are in the driveway always ready for battle and my 2007 Mazda sits broke dick in the garage

How many times do you have to flush the system, and do you take any other parts off when you flush (thermostat, radiator, water pump)
Changed pvc valve cover changed oil cooler and gaskets. Still oil in overflow and car don't over heat

Same thing happened on my Honda lol It is definitely a head gasket or cracked heads problem lol Sometimes we just gotta roll with the punches

What could be the reason for car not starting in the first place should we take a look at Maf sensor and coil pack, please put me out of my misery

@Pat Caron usually valve cover seal would cause a leak on the top side of the engine which would drip onto the cat(s).

Did you have small bubbles and foam in the coolant also?
@@thepuff309 no bubbles or foam, just a thick black (grey-ish) oil.
