Pile has been a powerhouse in the Boston rock scene since their inception in 2008. Originally conceived as a solo project, frontman Rick Maguire brought together the current lineup in 2010. They're adored for their asymmetrical guitar work, Maguire's aggressive yet melodic vocal delivery, and pummeling, destructive breakdowns. This drummer is so underrated. his dynamic and unpredictable style of playing adds additional layer of complexity to their music. KILLER
YES. Kris is a force of nature behind the kit. Not only that, he's one of the nicest fucking guys I've ever met. Bought a round for the band after a show in Dallas and chatted for a while.
Some of the best music and rock musicians right now. I fucking love them however my 2 other band mates refuse to listen to them even though. I just don't get it.
To me Kris is just as much the essence of Pile as Rick is, I mean his drumming is just stupid creative and dynamic. I also met him in Croatia and he was super nice.
kris and rick make the band. everyone else has been excellent but they really make it what it is. hence why they’re the last remaining members at this point. i think chappy plays with them sometimes but anyway. they really kill it.
I'm always saying this about pile. kris' drumming is perfect. orchestral almost

These guys are so, so good. There is this raw, almost organic quality to their music. It almost reminds me of trying to trip on mushrooms 2 days in a row and coming to the realization that I was just a fucking loser.

I don't know, kind of fun to just see them chat about random real life shit lol. It gets kind of stale to hear the same questions and answers for musicians. "So whats the writing process like for you?" "oh well, blabblabla, its different for every song, blabalb, it usually starts with a riff/idea blablabla"
