That Gade trickshot on the net is to me personally to this day the most iconic shot in the history of Badminton. Most likely ANYONE literally all around the world passionate about Badminton has at least tried once to pull that one off. I know we did back in the days, thousands of times.... 😅
@Khang Ngọc Chung Nguyễn try to put people down by belittle what they can do It's show that you have bully mindset ,you are kind of person who doesn't to see other people succeed
When I started playing badminton I was so impressed by Gade's flick deception (#5) and Taufik's backhand smash, I spent hours trying to learn these two skill. I learnt backhand smash, but I did never quite understand the complex flick of Gade's. I think I have only pulled it off correctly 2 3 times, but stll did not really understand how I did it.
I actually did that recently because there wasn’t no way I was going to react to the shuttle and I just had to sit down to contemplate what I did to the person I was playing against
Sam Parsons doesn't look surprised of his defensive shot !!! ahah Beautiful video it's amazing to see this level of badminton, great skills and legendary points !!
Yep. I never cared for badmin or basketball but i sure knew who Peter gade, Chong Wei, lin Dan just like i knew who Michael Jordan, scottie Pippin, Rodman, Larry Bird where.
Was 4:44 pure luck that opponent smashed about there or is it just the way badminton plays out? I mean, just like tennis & pingpong there's always that 80% of a certain ball being played back at a certain angle and direction because it's the biggest chance to score the point. Was that the case here too? That there was a huge chance opponent would have smashed it right there?
It's fully luck but Sam was a teen during this comp and he was just trying trickshots since he thought he would lose the point anyways The shot could've gone anywhere to be fair
2:06 "You have to dare to win" - (when you have nothing to say about the match) 2:10 "See that's it", "oh, that's good, that's good but that's it ... that's really well played by CHONGWEI" ... and CHEN LONG got the point. . . . I guess you just have to be talkative with good intonation, regardless of what you are saying to be a badminton commentator.

Badminton System nice
Hi
Very (1m times) amazing
I swear, if he were to guessed it wrong and it was aimed on one of either sides instead of the center, he'd just make himself look stupid o.o"
4:33 There's no way he should have predicted that, pure instinct & brilliance.
mostly luck lol
Yes and well just reading his body language
showing off
@@atn2666 it did look good tho🤑
Oddly enough, the slow motion replay looked like he deliberately set that shot up. Or it was just a bad hesi fake mistake.
4:30 how the earth he predict that lol
Alvio Leegia aimbot
Maybe the other guy can only smash straight forward with the same amount of force, and being too predictable to Sam Parsons.
@@新月龍 no, obviously aimbot

Alright,I agree with you.

Great stuff! I love watching racket sport highlights. They all have such amazing action.
Really glad to see Vittinghus in there at #1! Still the most spectacular trick shot I've ever seen (and played at game point down)!
#8 behind the back shot was insane. Like making contact with it at all was cool but he managed to hit it in bounds and even over the net like wow

Backhand smash is not in the kind of trick shot dude. Its a basic shot. Taufik had it too, same like lin dan did in number 10.
