LCW is inspirational. Watching him teaches many fans how a person growth to be the GOAT with his blood and sweat of hardworking and sacrifices no one can even come close. He is therefore my 1 and only GOAT. Period.
i believe LCW is the most perfect athlete if you take out his mental chokes against LD. and yes i said althlete not player because LD is just a player that has more rest and mainly played the bigger tournaments. LCW is a true athlete since he played virtually all tournaments.
I agree.. and LD will make sure LCW will not win olympic gold, world championship or thr All England cup. All very prestiguous games. Doesn't matter he was never world no.1 rank. They are both very good.friends though outside the court
@@isaka6361 i separate the 2 for this reason. because the rest advantage LD had when he was playing against LCW is quite significant hence why i said player for LD. i say an athlete would endure tournaments after tournaments without much rest and a player would selectively choose tournament to play. im not blowing smoke at LD here. hes one of the best of all time, no one can deny that. its just to the end of his career when he still wins against LCW is superiorly from having more rest. i think the real meaning of athlete needs a little more in-depth because its virtually the same as player

In my opinion , LZW is one of my fav top tier badminton player in the world but retired . An old friend back years and years ago , i had a friend . He was pretty insane at Badminton . (417 KPH of that smash was amazing)

Lee Chong Wei is such an artist, I love watching him play. I'm so sad I only got into badminton after he retired, I would have loved to see him live. That stare down he gave is the most bad ass moment I have ever seen in badminton.
No doubt on LCW stamina because Hindu Murugan Statue in Batu Caves was a place where DLCW builded up his stamina by running up and down the stairs more than 7x. I believe he could take the 24feet backline shuttle and running to the front net

Actually, some of the trick shots, people might think he is playing around with the opponent but actually are part of the badminton techniques to deceive opponent. it is just he was able to play it more frequently compared to others. Some of the despise movement (though I disagree) was taught as part of the badminton game to gain mental advantage (I guess most people disagree and thus is less being seen nowadays).

It looks like LCW practices trick shots or shots in desperate moments, so he can seem to do them on command. Also, if he can just lie down during a rally, sometimes walk to the shot at a leisure pase, LCW has got to have some of the fastest footwork around!
wtf.. i didnt there are so many trick shots happened?!! OMG. Next time i play i'm gonna do all these tricks, eventhough i dont know how to jump smash and sometimes i missed hits
Current kids are now so lucky, can take or pick & chose from top players style of play to bring into their in which sport they live to play, not like in the 80s or early 90s have to wait for 'LIVE' telecast or go to sports library to watch, as homework before going to a match.
