    ive been looking for this answer from all SA CA utubers. Plz finally ansa it, nd u all know all aspiring students do wanna know but u never specific, so ndyakcela sis Tile. How much does a CA SA earn like you nd ur friends, what ur salary range

    • @mrstile5345
      @mrstile5345  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi. The reason they don't answer is because it's not an easy question. We all do different jobs. Someone who works for SARS (tax) vs someone who works in a bank (finance) earn very different amounts. Not even in the same range even though both CA's with same years of experience. So it's not about CA only, your industry of practice makes a difference. So I also can't just give you a general average, I trust you understand.

    Hi Mrs Tile thank you for this video. I relate to it because I am trainee accountant who also works in one of big 4 firms in Cape Town. I also wanna buy my car cash but rent is too much. It's almost 50% of my salary and yes I am sharing a house. The money that i am saving is little that I don't think I can be able to buy a car cash. I have cut down a lot things but its not enough and on top of that i have to send money home for groceries. I have even considered to change cities but I can't.
    Wena how did you deal with having to support home and all the expectations that your family had now that you were working??
    Thank you 😘😘

    • @mrstile5345
      @mrstile5345  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hi Anelisa. In the terms of your family's needs like food, that's important you have to assist. But make sure you limit it, no need to get your mom a new closet of clothes or nice furniture for example when you are still a trainee. One thing I did was to make sure my family understands that I am a trainee getting a trainee salary. One day I will qualify as a CA and I will be able to do more. On the video I covered a part on Saying No. Learn to not bite more than you can chew because of emotions. Financial decisions don't need emotion but sound reason. On the car, I know trainees who only got their car in second or third year. No need to pressure yourself in first year and be indebted. A car is not a need. You can still work around it. The public transportation system is good, and there is the option of car pooling. Be wise, don't decide under pressure.

      Your family might not understand your reasoning now, one day they will understand. Financial freedom takes discipline.

    Hi Mrs tile..I hear trainee accountants move around a lot to clients and all.how would one do that without a car

    • @mrstile5345
      @mrstile5345  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Auditing firns encourage "car pooling" so that they don't have to pay for travel claims for each and every person. All. You need to do is get to work and a group of about 4 people go to the client in 1 car daily. If you can't do that, you use Uber to travel to the client then use your Uber receipt for travel claim. It's easy to use public to get to office, it's even easier to just Uber straight to the client. Either way, you dint "need" a car. I survived a whole without it with absolutely no hustle.
