Are there still educated people who think Russia can win? Russia lost in 2022 and nether Finnland nor Sweden will leave NATO again. If the goal was to push NATO away from the Russian border it failed totally.

Seems optimistic to say the least. The Ukrainians haven't shown the ability to break through Russian fortified defences or to stop their FAB bomb attacks which are killing hundreds of soldiers per month. If they can't do those things it will stay as it is IMO, ie, a stalemate.

@Adonnus100 That's not quite accurate. I agree that 2025 is premature, but I follow people who are looking at satellite footage of Russia's long-term storage. At the rates they've been expending tanks and artillery, they'll completely run out in mid-2026. That doesn't mean they will run out then, but it does mean they'll have to stop the huge, daily artillery bombardment they've relied on. A slow-down will basically end the effectiveness of their current tactics. There *will* be a breaking point.
As long as Ukraine receives the *same* amount of aid as it has received through 2026, then they'll win by the end of 2026. Russia doesn't have the stockpiles to hold out any longer than that. I said "same aid" because it doesn't matter who's providing it. If the US steps downbut south Korea steps up, then they'll still recieve a considerable amount. Added to what Europe is and will be providing and it would be enough (both Koreas have insane amounts of artillery, though South Korea has slightly less than the North, but theirs is of much higher quality).

not only the ammo depot Toropetsk was hit and destroyed but also a few more were hit with simliar results. Only the one near Volgograd failed but the damage was done, there are reports of Russia artillery ammo shortage in the Ukraine. shortly after the attacks, yep Russians were really caught with their pants down on this one, storing large quantities of their weapons out in the opne preparing for be sent to the front lines, the Ukrainains actually waited for the trains to arrive in the depots and hit them while they were loading the ammo into the trains, strikes on a large pile of ammo resulted in a chain reaction shockwave equal to a 1.8 kiloton which caused the destruction of the other ammo dumps in the depot which cause more explositions and shockwaves.

AI autonomous sniper drones are a game changer in my view. The most efficient small arms air to ground combat weapon system one could conceive. If Ukraine can develop this to a high degree, it could be a massive boost to their air to ground combat operations toolkit. Imagine a single drone able to take out say 20 ground targets in one sortie. Then head back to a designated ammo dump and auto reload and if necessary auto recharge. Imagine a larger drone depositing a 100 magazine ( 20 shots per magazine ) ammo dump and solar recharge battery centre in a tall tree via a hanging it from a strong branch. It would be a like a robotic wasp .22 calibre sting rearming nest. Then imagine say 10 drones re-arming during one sortie. The tech components already exist. It just has to be designed with R & D then assembled and tested and refined over time. Much of the testing could also be simulated in a real world 3D graphics environment / physics engine. For example a flight simulator type environment etc...

One small suggestion: "privet" is a russian greeting. In Ukraine we sat "pryvit" or, because it might be tricky to pronounce, you can say "vitayu" (greetings) which is literally pronounced as written. Also, this vide was an amazing watch. Some good points you have there. Support for Ukraine always seems one step behind.

Are the Western's secondary sanctions working, with the Russian Central Bank's 19 percent interest rate and inflation that is higher than that since the rate has kept climbing this past summer?

People support strongmen like putin and trump because their narratives give them permission to be the worst they can be, they normalise characteristics most find abhorrent, like advocating international war crimes, stoking cultural wars etc etc
These 'strongman' leaders, as hitler did, enable people to feel they belong to a community, no longer isolated, rejected loners. Vicariously followers can feel empowered by 'strongmen'. and they are willing to give up freedom of press and democratic right to feel that way. (agenda 2025 written by trump campaign's think tank heritage would turn usa into an autocracy)
These followers will reject anything which doesnt align with their world view, at most they experience cognitive dissonance when confronted with reality.
It is only when they realise firsthand the damage the autocratic 'strongmen' they worship have caused, (to them, their family and friends, their career prospects, finances etc, or when they themselves are targeted), when it is arguably 'too late' that they finally use their brains and take their ego out of the equation and start noticing the logical fallacies and cognitive distortions in the information they consumed so greedily, so readily.
If you place truth above your ego, learning cognitive distortions and logical fallacies will take you far when you dont have time or resources for fact finding missions, when you havent been taught how to research or find primary sources and use critical thinking skills, psychology and history to draw a 'most probable' analysis.
Jo public, you, me dont know jack shit for certain^ at best we have ideas, get ur ego out of the game, make truth bigger than yourself^

I think it will be impossible in 2025. it depends on many factors. You can't expect NATO, for example, to suddenly give Ukraine three times as many weapons. That would be a possibility that Russia would lose quickly, but rather unlikely.
In my opinion, the following is more realistic but much more difficult.
On the one hand, support would have to remain constant or even be increased slightly until 2028 or longer. Ukrainians need to stay motivated to fight. those are the prerequisites. After that, the Ukrainians would have to remain on the defensive for years until Russia used up its Soviet reserves. According to satellite images, that won't be until 2027. At that point Russia would suffer massively in terms of material. The losses in tanks are only 6% new T-90. NATO would then have to increase support from 2027 so that Ukraine can go on the offensive and conquer its country...

I like your big barrel small barrel analogy. However assuming its right, if Ukraine strikes the big barrel, doesn't that do little? After all you described the current logistics system as a bottleneck, isn't that true for the whole of the conveyor? If they strike the big barrel, well you still have the same constraints getting things to the front line. So if the big barrel is 800 units of combat power and the conveyor is 100 units. Only 100 units goes to the front. You strike the big barrel so that it goes from 800 units to 700 units - well you still have 100 units making it to the front.

Isn't it ironic that part of the solution to introducing an NCO class is go review what Ukraine did from 2014 to this day. They're making so much military history right now. One aspect is to study and use the exact techniques that NATO and the West used to place and train staff and infrastructure. Perhaps THE most valuable thing to come from a RUSSO and anyone war is the destruction of the Russian culture. Starting militarily with a very difficult change of mindset to any of a number of fine western armies. The culture will have to be rooted out in the civilian population as well. Free Speech and thought fully expressed will be a powerful tool. The Russians will need strong national leaders to survive this. It may well be that they exist and will step up as soon as the spectre of PUTINISM is extinguished. Hopefully forward thinkers will be able to rise and bring the people who can reach out to the needs of people. By the time the Ukrainians win the Russians will receive one of the most massive body of walking wounded ever known with healing needs to be provided by a system that doesn't even exist. The pressure on the civilian Women is going to be tremendous. They are going to be encouraged to start families and required to have jobs and create a NEW form of Government. Even as I type this I'm encouraged for the PEOPLE of both countries. The common decency and tenacity that the Ukrainians have operated with prove that common decency and tenacity can be taught and learned with Free Speech.

I doubt Russia can last much more than one more year. The only positive so to speak, is that most the Russian forces that actually wanted to fight in Ukraine since the war commenced are likely no longer in the fight. If you know what I mean. Those Russian conscripts and contract soldiers remaining, either want to escape or not even arrive on the front. At this stage the majority of the Russian foot soldier forces remaining in this war, are effectively unwilling participants. This is why Putler has turned to jails and now those prisoners on remand about to enter jails. They can't barely last another year or so and what remains is effectively cannon fodder.
