I can hear lots of echoes here, though they may not be influences: Kancheli, Shostakovich, even William Alwyn. Very twentieth century tonal work. Very beautiful, fairly dramatic, nicely realized . Thank you for uploading.

Depends on your mood , hour of day or evening or night, or working in Garage on woodwork project ,making something yor wife said must make or something you have neen waiting to make. Depends on the wood you are working with Walnut or Padauk.
Then depends if walnut, hits a nut or smooth, then depends on your hand plane Veritas or Stanly then depends your blade is sharp or not then depends on sharpenning stone.
Then depends if you are stingy or generous did you buy cheap stone or Diamond stone
then finally depends on Diamond stone was it $80 or $120 price is based on those in Christmas 2022
