Loving your favourite FA Cup memories below 👇
My favourite FA Cup memory. Monday 27th May 1963. I was 9 years old and stood on Trafford Road in Salford to watch United bring home the Cup. Coming 5 years after Munich it was the rebirth of United. After flirting with relegation all season we won against the odds. The first Cup Final with Wembley being completely roofed. Leicester lost the toss and changed kits as the game was on TV in black and white.
Great times! Come on United!
What a memory that must be!
Lived with me for 61 years. I will be at Wembley tomorrow!
thanks for sharing your memory. Very cool and interesting to hear about.
Giggs at Villa park, the steward trying to stop me getting on the pitch and I just jumped off the hoarding over his head, my mate fell off it and got gripped. I was one of the lads carrying Beckham at the end.
My favourite FA cup memories are always beating Liverpool 77 79 & 85 Ole Cantona and now Amad. Glory Glory Man Utd.
My fave fa cup memory was the LvG season in the semi final when Martial scored last second against Everton. I went with my dad who passed 2 weeks ago also massive fan of the channel and we had an amazing day 1 that ill remember forever because we went on to beat palace of course and the 50m down the drain chants were crazy.
Sorry for you less mate.
That semi final replay with Arsenal at Villa park in 1999 is my favourite Utd game ever!
Favourite FA Cup moment was the Greenhoff winner in 1977.
Man, I haven’t seen Karl Pilkington in anything in ages… he’d be mint on The Brew.
He’s a yanited fan n all. They should ask him come on heads gone he’d shit that vibe best.
Ste’s face when he’s listening to himself in Chinese is priceless
Whiteside left foot 85 👊 (Giggs 99 is too easy)
100%!
Best fa cup goal for me was 1994 Hughes' equaliser vs oldham last min of extra time was on the bus to holyhead with my old man going to see family in Ireland
I was right behind the goal for the Cantona winner against the dippers, amazing experience
Mark Hughes equaliser against Oldham still stands out for me to keep the double alive
What we have to remember is we should have Martinez and Shaw back for the final.
Big Norms goal in the 85 cup final springs to mind when i was a kid, great memories
My local teams Oldham and my dad’s an Oldham fan. Always tells me out Oldhams glory days, the great escape, specific results against the biggest teams in England. Love Oldham man and the fall has been crazy. Ex-owners taking what they can. Mike cashley had his grubby little hands in there too. Big Frank Rothwells in now tho 💪
cheering at Ceefax. Oh the memories 😆
Somewhat of an average Mandarin speaker myself, after rewatching the bit, sounds pretty legit lads! 😂😂
The subs in English kinda syncs with the Mandarin in some way so wow.
Indeed terrifying and fascinating.
It was only for a few minutes but when McQueen and McIllroy equalised against Arsenal in the 79 cup final. Shouting at Macari to take out Brady then Sunderland scored. Still have nightmares today.
The Gentlemen is class. Masters of the Air. Laudermilk is my hidden gem choice.
Whiteside v Everton
Mcillroy v Arsenal - though got done at the end 😮
Grrenhoff v Liverplop. Hilarious.
Loving the chat about Spanish... i'm a Yorkshire lad living in Colombia. First thing you learn is how to order a beer and take it from there 😅
Mark Robbins goal at forest. United end was bouncing. North manchester reds.
I gotta check out that Mandarin AI video of Ash and Ste. Wanna know if the translation is on point.
I listened to Cantona get sent off at Palace on the radio. Games like that back then weren't televised anywhere, not even highlights.
The talk about languages is interesting for me as i am a 4th year uni student about to graduate with french german russian. I absolutely agree our lack of language ability as a nation is shocking, however it hopefully means there's more jobs in the industry 😂
Hughes v Oldham
Speaking truth Ste ! Respect the animal
My favorite is ole beating Liverpool with late game winner, and then doing it again 20 years later as a manager
Them: wish I could speak Spanish
Me, in Cymru: Cymraeg, Minglish & Deutsch 😎🏴
brighton 83; big norm 85 was unreal, robbo and sparky at maine rd v scousers, les sealey 1990, gi 0:37 😂ggsy 99 villa park ❤
Imagine coming from heads gone directly to the fucking brew 😭😭 and Ste American pastor voice
Have always said Ola, instead of hello, at work, I live in Canada. Went to Spain on a football trip and greeted the staff in a coffee shop with Ola!, and boy did that backfire. I was not prepared for what followed in the slightest. Definitely want to get passible with Spanish, can get by with my German, and they seemed to really appreciate me trying in Germany.
Haloumi burger is mint. Good on you Jay
I think it’s was the 09/10 season but we beat city and in the game Valencia threw Craig Bellamy on the floor after Bellamy was trying to play rough 😂
Norman Whiteside 1985...Moran being sent off and the 2 epic semi-final games against Liverpool
Jimmy greenhoff header at goodison 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Burton Albion v Manchester United , final minutes of the game and Albion didn't throw anyone into the box to score from a Corner to win the game . Very clear , we Burton Albion , were not planning to win the Tie and were playing for the Return Replay to Old Trafford .
My fav f.a cup memory Oldham 1-1 Manchester United that sparky goal wow, all the movies have been shit this year so far so nothing sticks out so probably Oppenheimer ( can’t wait for fall guy) watching slow horses season 3 really good.
Late to the party, but Fallout is good, watched it all over a couple of days.
I heard the Giggs goal on the Radio
Ironically, it was some hacker who leaked documents about Man City that led to the 115 charges.
Cantona late winner against liverpool
Oldham beat Villa, Liverpool, and Southampton, that final week of the 92/93 season. On top of that, Oldham was the last team to beat United in that run-in. Without those 4 wins, they would have been relegated.
That AI thing has legitimately freaked me out
Shogun on Disney+ is good
Wifey says Netflix series Baby Reindeer is good.
It's ok Ste. Outlandish things happen when your black-out 😂.
amad vs liverpool i know its only been a few weeks but it stopped liverpool winning the lot tis season
I'm not vegan, but oat milk in coffee is 100x better than cows milk
What's the greatest FA cup final of all time, lads?
Not that it matters at all now, but with all English clubs out of Europe at the quarters, does that mean no 5th place????
Stephen how son
Memories? You’ve won as much as Manchester City in the last twenty years 😂😂
Mourinho had better squad than ten hag and played better football to win three trophies and 90mins + dispite glasers input. Measured against current squad rashford was among established and knew his place. Funny how he's laboured under social media clout.
Chelsea 2-1 City
Coventry 2-2 United
(United win 6-5 on penalties)
Manchester United 4
Chelsea 1
Ye gotta watch fallout
Stopping liverpool winning in 77
History fc
Fallout
The amount of fake laughter from J is unbearable.
