    Nathan Jones going to Charlton is going to send the rest of the division a statement, that statement could prove a revival for them this season and maybe promotion next season.

    Nice to see you smiling again Charlie and more optimistic. Massive game v Reading. Hopefully Nathan can turn it round A.S.A.P. Just wish your owners had appointed him sooner. Should be better im sure he'll work on that defence and get you playing on the front foot. All the best as always 👍. Obviously not when we march into the Valley.

    Luton supporter here. Wish Jones well at Charlton. He can certainly get you going in the opposite direction. And if he does, I hope this time he doesn’t then get his head turned by a bigger club. If he’s learnt his lesson, he’ll stay for a good few years. He can achieve everything with Charlton. Premier League not out of the question.

      Thank you for tuning in mate and sharing your views as a Hatter.
      That's my only concern but then at the end of the day, it would only mean we are in a good position.
      I think we have all the foundations for him to be a success, it's just whether he can make it tick and us as a fanbase, being patient.
      I truly think it's our best appointment since Curbs and can't wait to see what he can do with this group.
      Hopefully he can keep us up and then have us fighting for promoting next season
      All the best in your fight for survival in the prem, cracking effort so far and we all love an underdog story 👊🏼

      @@Braziliance Would like to see Charlton do well. Should really be shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Palace, Brighton, Brentford, Fulham and Bournemouth - and back in the Prem. Your boardroom will be key. You’ve got to be well run off the field, as well.
      Luton were really canny. Never overspent, and working with Jones brought in some fine players for next to nothing. No doubting Jones will keep you up this season, and push for promotion next season.

    I am looking forward to seeing Jones and what he can do.....I don't think our defenders are the problem, yeah we ship goals and make mistakes but it's League One, ultimately that all stems from bad leadership/management, players having no trust in the manager and a lack of confidence. The first thing Jones needs to do is instill that belief in his vision, create a positive dressing room atmosphere and build the confidence quickly. 16 games left and 48 points to play for, it seems there is plenty to play for but the games run out fast so a WIN at Reading is a MUST and will send the right signals to the players and fans

      I thought your league 1 Luton side was excellent that year, as you say, free scoring and played great football. The 3 best teams comfortably in the league went up that season, and I was buzzing when we beat yous, proper result that made me start to believe we were gonna go up one way or another,

    Thanks Charlie. Not comparing this to Liverpool getting Klopp (obviously) but there are similarities. Both of them effectively fell into their respective clubs' laps as regards the timing. Both are able to engage with the fans - tone deaf and emotionally unintelligent they certainly aren't. It's not all about pints down the Oak but relating to the fans does help! Like you I'm optimistic although IMHO you're - understandably - viewing our prospects for this month's games through the prism of this season's overwhelmingly shite displays. Hopefully NJ has enough time to get his ideas across. BTW what was he supposed to do at Southampton? He got the boot after THREE MONTHS!

    • @Braziliance
      @Braziliance  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Spot on Paul, I understand you aren't comparing him but rather the situation. I feel like this was one of the best jobs if not the best he could have found himself in, in the EFL. We have such a bad reputation and he will receive serious plaudits for turning it all around, if he can..
      Not only that, but it was the Premier league, never going to be a quick fix! They were doomed anyway if we are honest
