- Matchday 24 of 46 for Charlton in League 1 and another miserable performance and result. We need big changes at the club, this can't go on. Huge bogey team Oxford for us.

If I was you, And Charlton fans get beyond the manager. He is good and he won’t let you down when he’s got his team together. Terrible injury list for you lot and I suspect if you don't make some significant transfers, play offs may slip away which would be a shame after such a brilliant start to the season.

Interesting to see what Oxford fans think of Appleton compared to us 😂 but obviously he was successful there. Be interesting to see who comes in, definitely feel a bit different from Friday evening to now

@Braziliance enjoyed the game to an extent. A lot of it was low quality league 1 fare. Until 60 mins or so I thought it was very even and then charlton seemed to try and settle for a draw. Given we had nothing off the bench that struck me as very odd.
I thought one of your wingers looked quite tricky in the first half. I'm late 20s so remember charlton being a solid Premier league team, your downfall reminds me of ours when we were in the national league. Things do eventually get better.

I am 32 myself so grew up only knowing Premier league footie, praying we can get back to those days sooner rather than later.
The winger you are talking about is Corey Blackett-Taylor I believe, an outstanding player and imho the best winger in this league. Really hoping we hold on to him but he probably deserves a chance at championship football at his age.

We just keep getting our manager appointments completely wrong, why appoint appleton who has done fuck all at every club he’s been at
I can mate tbh, I was under no illusion how average we were before the season began, one thing I did underestimate is other sides in the league. 3 of the 4 newly promoted sides all sit above us, I'd argue we are one of the most mismanaged clubs in the whole of the EFL.
Without being arrogant, I only have yourselves, Derby and Pompey ahead of us in club stature. Anything outside the top 4 this season is truly unacceptable.

@isxmmhd9697 spot on, we also have too many people involved with CAFC who don't care about the club. We need more people affiliated with CAFC back and we need owners who have our best interests, not just looking to flip and make a profit..

Happy new year! Same old charlton. Was amazed by the negativity of the Oxford fans with previous stats though if their team is injury affected that might have been the reason for that. That goal was good at the end though. Sad that at this stage the losses are predictable. I agree it’s a case of just getting through this season now and preparing for next unless something changes. Regarding the manager, sometimes it takes awhile for them to find their feet. We are quick to discard them but how many games can you gamble with them? Definitely need recruitment to step up. Great vlog as always

I wouldn't go into Oxford having 8 players out Charlie they certainly didn't have 8 changes from the Oxford team at Charlton when we beat them 2-0 at The DW they were flying 2nd in League 1. I don't think you'll go down. Pick up 3 points at Port Vale. 🙂👍. You had enough chances against Oxford.

I don't mate, one of the worst managers I've witnessed at CAFC (I have a lot to choose from) and he doesn't align with our clubs values. The most uninspiring petmanent managerial appointment in our history maybe after Russel Slade.
Your clubs has completely outgrown him and I assure you he isn't cut out for League 1. If your club wasn't willing to give him a job why should he be managing here? Genuine question

Oxford have 8 players out probably 5 of them are best players over players are tired now which is why Oxford form is up and down plus new manager not really bonding with side it shame as we could of done well we're probably Finnish 8
Yeah losing your manager and all the injuries has spoiled the party a bit certainly.
As I said to the other Oxford fans, I'd say you need to spend some money to stay in the play offs now or face the danger of Barnsley or Stevenage sneaking it. I'd day Pompey, Bolton, Derby and Peterborough are certs for top4
Definitely one of the best sides I've seen though this season, only Pompey (who were the best imo) and Bolton looked better.

Same same ole CAFC and yeah the winner was a screamer but he had time to take 3 YES 3 touches and no one closed him down Edu or whatever his name is a complete liability but very very poor from everyone and yet we had some chances but wasted.
Sick of any ambition and a coach just standing there with his hands in his pocket, yet he always sees a different game and again cut all the BS and states we must look at the bigger picture.

Agree about the goal, regardless they probably deserved the win. Dobson the only player to try and close the strike down, so many shirkers in this side, it infuriates me.
If we do find ourselves in a relegation scrap, we don't have the manager up to the task imo, he won't get this lot fighting
