Man, after Wedding Dress came out and before kpop became like a big thing in the States, a bunch of people already knew about Taeyang because of Wedding Dress. I guess it’s because he’s mainly RnB, people didn’t really associate it with K-pop at the time (though that could just be my experience). A lot of people liked Taeyang but didn’t necessarily like K-pop, which was odd to me as I became a fan because Taeyang and Bigbang are a part of k-pop, so it didn’t really make much sense, lol. I was actually introduced to Taeyang by a cousin waay before I got into K-pop and there were so many guys that got that Faux-hawk hairstyle he always had . It’s wild to see how much K-pop has evolved into what it is today.

The end of this MV was basically an interlude to his song and MV for “Wedding Dress”. It’s basically the first song that got him recognized internationally back in 2009. That’s when the KPOP craze/hallyu/korean drama started making a little move international wise. I mean Japan and China were obviously going to be connected to SKOREA and the KPOP idols back then do well there. But overseas/international KPOP was a “guilty pleasure” for some. It’s no way near to the hysteria and wide spread like is now. But legendary idols like BoA, TVXQ, SUJU, BIG BANG, GIRL’S GENERATION, and 2NE1..really started kpop’s entry into international recognition. Then the new generation KPOP idols and fandoms grew and technology evolved. So now it’s easy access to KPOP music and now the new gen idols have many opportunities to be recognized. Let’s thank the 2nd generation aka the KING AND QUEENS OF KPOP for even making some moves internationally and starting the move into international success.
That man on the Bike is TEDDY, main Producer of YG ent.. He's the leader of 1TYM (hiphop crew from YG ent back in the days) Teddy produce almost all 2NE1 and Blackpink's song and he also produce BigBang's 1st Album..
