  • Join me on another evening ride on the Scrambler Ducati 1100 Tribute Pro in my local area.
    The audio in the first video featuring the Tribute Pro was off, as I didn't have a deadcat on the microphone. I managed to get one, and you'll agree there is a considerable difference. I'm still getting to grips with the limiter dial on the microphone and adjusting it so you can hear the bike idle but also stop it from clipping when the bike is accelerating.
    Anyway, I hope you like the video. Please leave any tips or ideas in the comments. If you don't like the video and give me a thumbs-down, would you be open to telling me why so I can improve next time?
    Cheers,
    Conor - TheBritishMotorbiker

    Thanks a lot for this! A big congratulations as well! After's Schaaf's sport pro exhaust orchestra video, this is the one that I can listen to and enjoy.

      @@TheBritishMotorbiker Trading in my grey Nightshift for Tribute. Delivery/pickup tomorrow. Your video from year ago (Answering your questions about the Scrambler Nightshift) got me to buy Nightshift. My quick mods for Tribute will be, Nightshift type handle bar and bar end mirrors. Dont like the mirrors in the middle of the handle bar.

    Great bike and nice video, fortunately without music, the sound of the Ducati is great!! For me the most beautiful Scrambler from Ducati, also more beautiful than the Scramblers from Triumph or BMW. Many greetings from a Ducati GT 1000 rider in Germany.

      Thank you for the kind words! I adore the Scrambler Ducati range. They're beautiful machines, and the 1100s come into their own. I have my eye on the Sport Pro, but I would want to change the colour spec. Thank you for the support!

      They should ban music from reviews. This bike sounds agriculturally brilliant. True ducati noise

      I wholeheartedly agree. The only time I tend to put music over videos is if the microphone hasn’t worked properly or if there is too much wind noise.

    Hello mate, brilliant video. Good to see a POV ride with someone actually giving it a go and showing what the bike can do - you reckon it would be too powerful for a first bike?

    • @TheBritishMotorbiker
      @TheBritishMotorbiker  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the support. It’s one of those bikes that you want to throw around and have fun on. They may not be the fastest or most powerful but they put a smile on your face. You could give it a go but the 803 might be a more appropriate starting point. Take both for a test ride if you can 🙂

    Absolutely love it!! Do you like the digital dials? I wish it had an old fashion analogue dial.

    • @TheBritishMotorbiker
      @TheBritishMotorbiker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Analogue dials would have been more in keeping with the original scrambler from back in 1962, but I honestly don't mind the digital style. I much prefer it over the TFT the new scrambler range will have. They don't suit the scrambler at all and should remain with the sportier bikes.

      Thank you so much! I adore the tone of the 1100; some people compare it to a tiger, which is pretty epic! When you say base model, do you mean the Dark Pro?
      I don’t own this bike, it was on loan to me for a few weeks, but I do have a Scrambler Ducati Sixty2 (the 399cc engine) for commuting. I’ve been riding it for 3 years now and it’s been superb.

    great motorcycle and stock ducati sound. what abt suspension, is it soft, plush or sportive stiff?

    • @TheBritishMotorbiker
      @TheBritishMotorbiker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the slow reply. It's a beautiful machine and it makes a tremendous sound. I can only imagine what an aftermarket exhaust would sound like on this beauty.
      I'm pretty terrible at commenting on suspension. It was comfortable enough to do a 5-hour round trip if that helps at all. It's not super stiff, and I'm sure if you have a play around with the setup, you'll find the ideal setting. It handles cornering well, although again, I'm not the type of rider who gets his knee down.

    The way you ride, if you were on 10 years old 1000ccm twin, it would kick your butt. Lucky this engine is so well behaved.

    • @TheBritishMotorbiker
      @TheBritishMotorbiker  ปีที่แล้ว

      I appreciate the insight. I’ll bear that in mind. Perhaps I’ll do a track day to get a better understanding of things.

      @frantiseksram9741 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheBritishMotorbiker don't mean to throw shades, and what I had in mind would not probably be solved on a race track. So just to clarify, the good old twins, like the the first Suzuki SV 1000 and similar twins from this era, you had to watch your RPM, and how you change gears relative to the speed and RPM. The bike didn't like having the engine to go under 4000RPM. Let alone trying to accelerate from said low RPM. Same with downshifting, could not do that in the bend. Had to be done before it. But I guess it's a bit less relevant now, when the engines are so much more user friendly. Just that when I watched the video, I kept getting bad vibes, thinking how it would not work on proper old twin... So there you go :)

      @@frantiseksram9741 No, not tat all; I’m genuinely grateful for it and it helps me learn. Everything you said makes sense, and funily enough, I went on a bike safe training day with the police a while back and they said the same thing about me changing gears. They said I should get into a habit of finding the gear I want to be in before the corner and then using my brakes accordingly. I think one of the reasons I change gear so much is because I love the sound, but there’s no point doing it if it’s unsafe. Cheers dude.

    • @frantiseksram9741
      @frantiseksram9741 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheBritishMotorbiker Good man, learning is a good idea. I meant to go for this advanced course too, but I know they like to stick to speed limits, which I have a bad habit of not doing. I totally understand that sound aspect of it that you are talking about. Going back to the ruding, yes it's a proper skill to corner properly, in gear, good rpm and speed, chise the track, hit and accelerate out of apex. Its so rewarding when you manage it all smoothly and still keep the good amount of speed. The race track you mentioned, that will help with this. Recommend finding a small track for the cornering skills. Something where you would only need say 3rd gear max. Fast tracks like Silverstone will be too much for learning. Too much speed to go off the track, if you know what I mean. Do short sessions, 10 or 15 mins max, then have a break, think about what you are doing wrong, or talk to someone about it. Then go again... I believe there are courses for this too, where people in the know will ride behind you and talk to you on radio. That would be the best, really... Keep it up.

    • @frantiseksram9741
      @frantiseksram9741 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheBritishMotorbiker about the sound, it's also good fun to accelerate to high rpm and just let go of the throttle. Scrambler with termignoni will make a lovely experience of that. 👌👍

      Compared to most stock exhausts, this is pretty meaty and full of character, especially for Euro-5 emissions. My microphone doesn't do it justice in this video, but I have another where I ride to Cheddar Gorge and you can hear it in all its glory. That being said, if I owned one of these bikes, I would probably look for an aftermarket solution! Thank for the support.
