Excellent dishes! I truly miss and forgotten those Huề options. I may be wrong but the bánh khoái is a banh xèo spin-off for the emperor because the smaller size stays crispy to eat while the larger size of the bánh xèo gets cold and soggy. Honestly, I love both.
central Vietnam has the most delicious foods and of course the best coffee. I am always sad when i go to Saigon because it wont have the same foods and defiantly not the coffee as central Vietnam
2:11 she may be shy but she may have no idea what you are saying. The language is so different in each region. I speak and am understood in Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An but when i return to Australia sometimes they have no idea what i am saying because everyone is from Saigon or maybe Ha Noi.
@@Creees interestingly when I was back in California last time I was speaking to a group of Vietnamese all of whom were southern accent besides one who was a Hue accent. I understood very little of what the man from Hue was saying compared to what the southern accent men were saying
@@BigTimeBentley This should be the case as many Viet Kieu (usually referencing boat people) escaped from the South. Oddly I've never met someone with a Hue dialect in Australia before and if they came from the North it was more recent/by plane.
Four bucks, holyshamoly. I love chili/spicy food, one reason Ecuador wasn't for me. I was in the restaurant, resort, and event industry for almost 40 years. I will have to learn to not look in the back of the restaurant, and not see if they are reusing the double-dipped peanut sauce. :) Which I am pretty sure they are. Side Note: Next time, pull the meat off the lemongrass stick 'before' you add other goodies. :) And I may have added the meat to the dish. ;)

Tyler, isn't Hue up in the northern region of Vietnam??? Isn't it supposed to be cooler than HCM City? You're always sweating so I'm just curious. It doesn't look very comfortable if you've been living there yet sweating as much as you've been while visiting what I thought is supposed to be a cooler region of the country.
Take a quick look at this food They put mince meat wrapped in a lemon grass stick that was very a waste of food We don’t need it ! ( the lemon grass stick)
