Good Morning Vietnam 32 | Rollin’ With the Punches

- This is a series where I go over what’s going on in my life here as an expat in Saigon, Vietnam. In this episode, I’m in Binh Thanh discussing some difficulties with a recent move to a new apartment. Sometimes things don’t always go smoothly in Vietnam (or anywhere for that matter), but you’ve gotta roll with the punches.
There’s really not much of a plan to these videos, but hopefully they are entertaining and give you a bit more of an insight of what life is like here as an American living in Ho Chi Minh City.
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed this travel vlog.

You just cracked me up when you said the dog was discriminating a little bit 😂. I find that quite amusing.
Rolling with the punches...sometimes that is all you can do. I am glad to see you kept a positive attitude through this ordeal. I can not wait to see your new digs. Very excited for you. Glad that you have such knowledgeable and positive people in your corner. I could take some pointers from you and roll with the punches in a better way myself. Miss you and love you so much. Give my love to Trang. ❤❤
Looking forward to the apartment tour/reveal.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some times you get a Bahn Mi. I love music too, and it is fun to remember the great songs, and roll with the changes. You are rollin' !
that's a great one! well done
@@BigTimeBentley Oh hey, p.s. I forgot to tell you after I watch the video, but the long form is great.
Hope all is well! Life has its ups and downs.
It has been 50 years since the Vietnam War ended. I heard that many Americans still cannot forget Vietnam and keep returning to Vietnam.
Looking forward to the apartment video. I like the long format, too.
@@StewartPalmshore sweet thank you!
Wow, Tyler, that was the same coffee shop that I liked going to when I stayed at Maison De Camile Boutique Hotel in Binh Thanh district. I just love wondering the streets there and discovering new shops, cafes, bars, and markets. Strangely enough, I never made it over to PVC area. I had no idea back in 2019 that PVC was an up and coming expats and tourists bars and restaurants area. I will definitely make lots of time to spend in the PVC area the next time I am in Binh Thanh district. Keep up the good work. I really like this type of neighborhood content.
@@Me-lm2ky yeah I think you’ll enjoy your next visit!
One business man on YT said that due to the huge construction going on in Saigon, there is a surplus of apartments, hence prices are very negotiable. That tower you fancy may be affordable after all.
I thought you were Robert Iler, the dude that plays AJ in the Sopranos
Can’t wait to see the tour of your new apartment. Do you also get to choose a new mattress? 😂 jk bro, I hope everything goes well 🍀
Keep rollin!
Good videos 👍
Did the owner offer some sort of compensation for the obvious lack of interest from his part to have the apartment move-in ready?😁
ok. thanks
My vietnamese teacher told me that the sign of a good nước mía is if there's a layer of foam on top. Not sure if anyone can confirm 😂👍

He mentioned her at 7:40 mark in the video. She also has her own channel.

Talking about language 🤔does the old generation of Vietnamese do speak French still? I remember they use too 😉
@@danielou01 one old guy in Hue said “Merci” to me once. Other than that, it’s been English or Vietnamese in my experience
