- In October of 2000, the Bee Gees (Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb) came to New York City to unveil a postal tribute by their birth-nation, The Isle of Man. This rare footage shows the boys playfully celebrating their postal tribute with the event organizers and Isle of Man postal officials. Also includes an interview clip and the stamp sheet designs. This event took place hours before the Broadway premire of Saturday Night Fever.

I love seeing clips of stuff they did that wasn't so much about the music, but about them as people. They contributed time and effort to so many charitable causes during their lifetimes. Wish Maurice and Robin (and Andy) would have had more time on this mess of a planet. They made it an infinitely better place.

WOW what an amazing honor...all three brothers Gibb are gorgeous and beautiful personalities...that includes Andy as well,he was a younger version of Barry...I love the interviews they are so humorous...any award of any kind is well deserved to the brothers...I love the fact that Isle of Man had a statue made in the Bee Gees honor...I love how the brothers love each other it warms my heart...I love that they never gave up singing through out 5 decades...the most extraordinary amazingly unique group in history...the Bee Gees will forever be in my heart and their music will live on...I had the privilege of listening to the brothers Gibb since I was a baby teen in the 70's...wish you were here...❤

Yes, our wonderful BEE GEES, MAURICE, slightly shorter than BARRY, HIS hat, lol, what a wonderful TRIBUTE, ROBIN'S VOICE, STUPENDOUS, BARRY'S VOICE SPECTACULAR, our MAGNIFICENT BEE GEES...R.I.P. ROBIN HUGH, MAURICE ERNEST. THE BROTHERS WERE / R always involved with THE WORLD, THNX A ZILLION.
Loved this video. They are so funny when they are together like this, Mo is hilarious and so handsome, that goes for Barry and Robin too. All three so talented and handsome. Love them all. So deserving of this and all the other awards they've earned. Love them all.💗💗💗

That was around the time Robin began his affair with Clare, which ultimately drove a wedge between them all. After finding out about her, Mo wanted to continue on & ignore it, but Barry was absolutely livid. That prob explains why they hardly performed before Mo died. Think Barry was fed up with Robin's promiscuous lifestyle, when he always tried to ignore it in the past to protect their image.
