What I find ridiculous is that these supposedly ‘grown’ men (Logan Paul is 29 and KSI is 31) have reacted to DanTDM’s tweet with playground bully tactics. One tweet that got under their skin and they immediately resort to mocking voices and “No, you.” It’s becoming increasingly clear that their brains stopped developing at around age 16 because that’s how immature they act. They might be charismatic and have lots of money, but that doesn’t make them nice people.
Never really watched any of the three but already knew Logan Paul was a bit of a tool and Mr Beast just seems similar, but have heard so much about KSI being this great guy, great youtuber, great content etc. and I guess that may be true but HOLY SHIT I’ve never seen someone take criticism so fucking awfully lmfaoo

I genuinely hate that they’re using low calorie as a marketing point as if kids would care. Kids shouldn’t care and it honestly does instill in children that less calories = better. Kids shouldn’t be thinking about calories, they’re growing.
There isn't even enough calories for a child running around anyway😂 if a kid had enough calories in lunchly they would need around 2 1/2 boxes
Sadly there’s kids who do care about low calories and have a eating disorder and that could be for different reasons.

Them comparing lunchly to other influencers who have released sweets is so disingenuous. Sweets are just that, a sweet treat. Lunchly is marketed as a "healthy" lunch kit. They're not the same. Sure you eat both but that's where the similarities end. One is a treat, the other is ment to substitute an entire meal.

You can also just buy bread ham and sliced cheese, crackers and fresh fruit for way cheaper as well

Yeah the standard for a school lunch here for kids 5-11 is 518 calories, +/- 78. Lunchly is 230. So less than half of what the government feeds Scottish kids.

I feel like most people are uncaring that they made an unhealthy product and are more critical of the deceptive marketing but for me, I do think we need a conversation about ultra processed foods and in particular, with these specific three, using their influence to market UPFs directly to children. A chocolate bar that is no longer "healthier" than its competitors with its new formula, a "sports drink" that doesnt actually hydrate you and now a "healthy alternative" to lunchables but its still a UPF. There needs to be responsibility. Sure parents are part of the equation but children do have access to money and shops. And influencers do that influencing. Mr beast bragged about bringing new customers into the market. They are aware of their impact. These are not innocent little endeavors; there is a real impact on children's health.

8:11 From what I'm observing, Prime sold well only at the start. Then people realized how they didn't like the taste so Prime doesn't sell well as it used to. Same goes to Feastibles. Because their products aren't selling as much as it used to, they have to literally repackage their products as a marketing tactic. Nothing changed. They just boxed them up together and made bold claims. It's not gonna last. They're just doing this to sell what is left in their failing products

I'm guilty of saying 'fair play, make your bag' but realistically it's wrong. Money over morals is never the right way. There's no ethical way to be a millionaire/billionaire. They are taking advantage of children that idolise them and will do anything to get their products, it's only less calories because there's hardly any food in the product. I don't think the "no sue clause" works. 1 it's on the website so you won't see it if you buy the product normally. Unless they include it with every pack. 2 you can't have clause that stop legal action, to my knowledge. Ik its an arbitration clause, but alot of things can't be handled with arbitration 3 who tf makes a terms of service form a lunch kit? Have tos for lunch (if you can even call it that) should be a red flag for anyone
This is common standard practice for every company it’s why you have things like “for ages 5+” or other legal jargon it’s just to avoid a law suit

Lesson 1, leson 2, brake, leson 3, lunch, leson 4, leson 5
If i was still a prinary school kid, it wouldn't matter which one I'd get, lunchlly or lunchabls, I'd still be starving by the middle of leson 4 until I go home and and grab a snac or eat dinner.
