Don't worry about thinking too much; it's these parts I like most! But actually I like all of your video(s), it's so useful for learning Chinese! So thanks a lot and keep going!
A wonderful young and very strong girl indeed! 非常感謝阿! I think you should always think a lot about different things. Life is full of learning and experiences that you should always think about. ☺
Thank you for your approach to this touching story. I felt the emotions expressed in the language you use, even though my grasp of the language if still far from fully competent. The number of times I had to look up the words to make sure I understood the subtlety of the expressions.
"这本小说是一个日本作家写的" "This novel was written by a Japanese writer" … We are taught that the 是…的 construction is used to emphasize the manner in which something was done. But if the item after 是 is a person, then this person is the doer of the action. And the subject of the sentence is the recipient of the action. So this is simply the "passive voice", used when something was created by somebody. I think that 被 cannot be used in these cases. The "active voice" of the above sentence could be : "一个日本作家写了这本小说" "A Japanese writer wrote this novel"
The content you put between "是。。的" is something that you want to emphasize. "这本小说是一个日本作家写的",here I want to emphasize that it's a Japanese writer who wrote this book, not a chinese writer or someone else. We don't regard this to be passive voice. But "一个日本作家写了这本小说" is also correct, but just that you didn't emphasize anything. It's simply a description. Hope it answers your question.😁

Yes, I agree. But I also heard someone said the more you think, the less happy you are.

"I felt the emotions expressed in the language you use", this means you already have a certain level of Chinese. Happy for you. Keep on going! 💜
这样的故事让我心疼。不知道怎么安慰鼓励他人
在这种情况下,我也不知道如何安慰他人。没有经历过,也很难体会他人的不易。😥
