- The History Of The Raymond Weil Company
The history of RAYMOND WEIL is one of a family. The brand was created in 1976 by Raymond Weil who always incorporated each timepiece with music and the arts.

In Riyadh, there's an expensive mall. From the 90's ,still outside it, facing the parking lot, there's a working RW clock. Looks amazingly displayed.
Raymond Weil, Gloria, owner, given to me by my father and a gem in everyone strangers eyes once they see it. Love it.
Raymond Weil deserves more attention and love....they make really good swiss time pieces for the money. I own a tango and consider purchasing a newer model
@ Jaden Abed We agree!
I've just ordered the Freelancer in Blue. Most of my friends have Tags, but I wanted something different in that £1000-£2000 price bracket. It will arrive tomorrow but I know I'm not gonna regret it. Very underrated thus I will be unique among my friends.
I love RW Tango. Classic and Elegant
Raymond Weil is cool.
@ Yorcen You are correct !
I remember that when I was a child there was a TV commercial for that brand and I never knew why? I was always paralyzed when I saw it, I was focused watching the whole ad and felt great pleasure when the end came and they said "With the Raymond Weil signature, from Geneva. Naturally ..."
Great watches from a great company, I love my RW automatic. Looks amazing and never misses a beat.
The fact that it’s independently ran is why I gravitate towards their pieces.
@LocaliLLocana Yes, that's pretty cool! Agree 💯
Independence is not a merit on its own. Design and even more so craftsmanship is what matters. And because RW doesn't make their own movements, they're dependend on ETA or Selitta anyway.
@@einundsiebenziger5488 yeah but that's not necessarily a bag thing. They've got their in house designed movements. Most car manufacturers source components from specialists as well
I do enjoy this video. Thank you.
Winning bids on 2 Raymond Weil vintage watches atm. Hope to get both for a great price 2nd hand . I recently found this brand and am very pleased for the price! Love me some Swiss watches 😅😅. Being independently owned and operated is a nice plus for this brand 👌
Thanks for this video.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching :)
Raymond Weil is an underrated watch brand.
And overpriced too
Don Giovanni cosi grande is a beauty series..
I just found in my dresser a Raymond watch I think I have a valuable diamond. Woow. But it doesn't work. Can someone tell me

Goooooooood ❤❤❤😍
@NELZ HOLND Thanks for watching!
Parsifal collection is great
If you snob Raymond Weil, you know nothing about watches no matter what Rolex is hanging off your arm. (Rolex owner myself)
@Stifftoshi Vision Good call! 😊
Hey hello I just find I have one of this watches but it won't work what can I do??. I think is automatic. Please help?
@@deysilocacrazylocadia4989 shake it baby, and if the watch still does not run you may need to get it serviced 👨🍳
@@deysilocacrazylocadia4989 If you need help with your Raymond Weil, we can help you. Visit www.timesticking.com to get started, if interested. Take care.
Yesss, I agree with u. RW is like the dupe of cartier even Frederique Constant, Maurice Lacroix, Longines, and Tissot who are on par to RW , I choose RW above them. RW has the shape of cartier, tiffany and Baume et Mercier but with fraction price. The durability is amazing
Is The Beatles watch White with album titles worth buying ? is it a quality watch ?
Worth is a subjective term, but at face value - disregarding the Beetles affiliation.
I see them going for $1,300usd
A handsome Polished and well built SS case, with a well built and polished bracelet with solid links and a milled clasp.
A dial with some nice detail work, textures and applied markers. Sapphire crystals front and back.
The movement is a “In-House” RW200 - which I believe is a ETA or SELLITA Movement That’s been modified. Automatic, Hacking, manually windable & a date complication. And looks reasonably well finished with a custom Rotor.
Only downside I see is a lack of screw down crown. And a 50m water resistance. It’s okay but I wouldn’t take it to the beach.
All this From a reputable brand. Not bad. But not great. $1,300 is alright but you could get a equally good watch from Hamilton, B&M, Seiko, Christopher ward, Tissot. Likely under $1000.
But then you’ve got the special factor. It’s a limited edition, 1/3000 piece and your likely never going to run into anybody wearing one. Hell... it will even probably retain some good value because of the Beetles/RW affiliation.
If your Just looking for a quality Time piece. Maybe pass and get yourself something of slightly better value.
But if your a beetles fan.. the value is immensely better. And definitely worth the buy for it’s given price.
@@SG-wj2qj It's Beatles.....thanks for your feedback ! 👍
@@SG-wj2qj what a fantastic description of that piece. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Parsifal chronograph. I can't find videos about it anywhere.
Do people just hate them because of so many quartz? They seem to be ignored
My collection amadeus 200
Only Nabucco
I love Raymond Weil 1990 2020....poor advertising 😔
Who promised you a perfect world? What are you? The worlds greatest ditch digger??
Jesus is Lord 🙏
I have a problem wearing a watch with somebody’s else full name stamped on the dial
You probably have other more serious issues to worry about
Says the guy with no watch
If someone gifted me a Patek Philippe, I'd tell them "sorry, I have a problem with wearing a watch with somebody else's full name stamped on the dial."
If someone handed me a check for $10,000, I’d say, “Sorry, I have a problem cashing a check with someone else’s full name on it.”
