The power-scaling makes about as much sense as Dragon Ball Super and is ignore because the writers are not on the same page, so they do things that don't make sense and only explain it later that really doesn't. It was only done to denigrate a Primarch because GW wanted to move on from them and had to make them seem way weaker than they ever had.

He was literally smashed to a pulp and launched across his throneroom, took him a good five-ten minutes to heal. The only reason he survived was because he literally couldn't die due to warp hax, only thing that could cause permanent damage at that time was something that also had warp hax like the Anathame/Athames. Even then it took Horus relinquishing his admin privileges. Edit: yes, it was *insert Leetu voice* John Grammaticus, who used the Enuncian word, which he gleaned from *insert Graft's voice* Trooper Perssons memories or dreams, cant remember which. Crazy that it also damages the wielder of a Word of Enuncia purely because it is so powerful, as the book tells that the inside of John Grammaticus’ mouth was messed up/jaw almost broken (I cant remember the exact damage). What's even crazier is that the wielder can have zero psychic abilities and still use it, as it doesn’t come from the warp, it is literally the language used during the creation of the universe.

An even less known character i love is Kalus Ekaddon of the sons of horus. Dude almost took out Maloghurst when he was a child, went on to become the captain of the Catulan Reavers (the other half of the 1st company to the Justaerin led by Falkus Kibre), and being responsible for saving Maloghurst and allowing him to bring Horus back from a coma after Beta-Garmon, basically saving the legion. Unfortunately, his death was lame af.

Man, when I got into warhammer 40k I never thought there'd be so many cool space marines. The focus always seemed to be on how great the primarchs are, less their marines.
I really do like the Thousand Son's because I am always into the more magical esoteric parts of fantasy and they really are the Space Marine epitome of raw magical power. While my favorite traitors (and space marines in general) chapter remains the Night Lords these are in my top 3. (Blood Angels are in there somewhere.)
Here's some to consider: What if all of the Primarchs (save Alpharius because he landed on Terra) somehow died before the Imperium discovered them? (Assume that Vulkan was never found by the Imperium, maybe he was lost in the Warp, maybe the DE got a hold of him, maybe he’s in Trazyn’s galleries, etc). The important thing is, what if no Primarchs? If any one Loyalist and Traitor Primarch switched sides for the Horus Heresy, who would you choose for the best outcome for either the Loyalists, or the Traitors? What if the Silent King never got rid of his Command Protocols and took (almost) all the Necrons with him out of the galaxy to perhaps find a new and better one and come across the Tyranids? What if the Great Crusade had all the Primarchs and none turned Traitor, but there were no Astartes? What if the Beast Orks succeeded in defeating the Imperium? What if the Raptor Project succeeded/was never sabotaged? How would each Heresy/Crusade-era Primarch and Legion fare against the modern Tau Empire?
The question actually is what was strong enough to kill of the Primarchs? It would make The Emperor's project pretty useless, him kinda dumb and little reason why Chaos would have needed to scatter them and lay seeds for them later. It would be bad writing. And the outcome of any of those scenarios depends on the author writing. There is no consistency or standard the lore is following, so it goes at Marvel/DC level whims until a major event dictated by GW and then things have to follow a certain path.
Im still waiting for tje third & final enrty to the Black Legion. This series made me really like Abaddon & his original trio of legionnaire brothers (Iskandar, Lheorvine & Telemachon). I know in the final part as MajorKill stated. The close bond of brotherhood fell apart due to later combat events. But I've been patient & anxiously waiting to fully read/listen to the final book. Abbadon kept Iskandar close as a friend he needed. With him gone something dreadful must've happen.
A video about, what if there were no loyalist elements in the traitor legions ,this would also count for omegon and magnus. So there would be no need for the culling at isthvaan and weakening of the traitor forces.. this would be very intresting to see what all the effects would be on the succes of the heresy.
Since we doing a thousand sons character can you do one on Sul Kontep and his 3000 or so loyalist thousand sons and if they might be related to the Brotherhood of a thousand loyalist chapter. The big ass M iconography seems convincing
Iskander is probably the only psyker outside some eldari farseers or the emperor or magnus who can hold a candle to Ahriman. One of my favorite scenes is where he fights and beats several grey knights at once soon after the heresy. He gets banged up pretty well but the defeats them all and maims one of them significantly.
@@m.j.e.5245 Draigo surpasses Ahriman, Khayon, and Mephiston. Mephiston has thus far displayed more destructive capabilities than Ahriman though, but I'm not confident enough to say who wins in a duel between the two.

I really do like the Thousand Son's because I am always into the more magical esoteric parts of fantasy and they really are the Space Marine epitome of raw magical power. While my favorite traitors (and space marines in general) chapter remains the Night Lords these are in my top 3. (Blood Angels are in there somewhere.)

Here's some to consider:
What if all of the Primarchs (save Alpharius because he landed on Terra) somehow died before the Imperium discovered them? (Assume that Vulkan was never found by the Imperium, maybe he was lost in the Warp, maybe the DE got a hold of him, maybe he’s in Trazyn’s galleries, etc). The important thing is, what if no Primarchs?
If any one Loyalist and Traitor Primarch switched sides for the Horus Heresy, who would you choose for the best outcome for either the Loyalists, or the Traitors?
What if the Silent King never got rid of his Command Protocols and took (almost) all the Necrons with him out of the galaxy to perhaps find a new and better one and come across the Tyranids?
What if the Great Crusade had all the Primarchs and none turned Traitor, but there were no Astartes?
What if the Beast Orks succeeded in defeating the Imperium?
What if the Raptor Project succeeded/was never sabotaged?
How would each Heresy/Crusade-era Primarch and Legion fare against the modern Tau Empire?
The question actually is what was strong enough to kill of the Primarchs? It would make The Emperor's project pretty useless, him kinda dumb and little reason why Chaos would have needed to scatter them and lay seeds for them later. It would be bad writing. And the outcome of any of those scenarios depends on the author writing. There is no consistency or standard the lore is following, so it goes at Marvel/DC level whims until a major event dictated by GW and then things have to follow a certain path.

Im still waiting for tje third & final enrty to the Black Legion. This series made me really like Abaddon & his original trio of legionnaire brothers (Iskandar, Lheorvine & Telemachon). I know in the final part as MajorKill stated. The close bond of brotherhood fell apart due to later combat events. But I've been patient & anxiously waiting to fully read/listen to the final book. Abbadon kept Iskandar close as a friend he needed. With him gone something dreadful must've happen.

A video about, what if there were no loyalist elements in the traitor legions ,this would also count for omegon and magnus. So there would be no need for the culling at isthvaan and weakening of the traitor forces.. this would be very intresting to see what all the effects would be on the succes of the heresy.
Since we doing a thousand sons character can you do one on Sul Kontep and his 3000 or so loyalist thousand sons and if they might be related to the Brotherhood of a thousand loyalist chapter. The big ass M iconography seems convincing

Iskander is probably the only psyker outside some eldari farseers or the emperor or magnus who can hold a candle to Ahriman.
One of my favorite scenes is where he fights and beats several grey knights at once soon after the heresy. He gets banged up pretty well but the defeats them all and maims one of them significantly.
Yeah. Ahriman is the strongest sorcerer after Emp and Mag, Probably at Malchador's level. Draigo, Khayon, Mephiston follow
He can't win against ahriman he admitted himself in his duel with him and fears him more than magnus
@@m.j.e.5245 Draigo surpasses Ahriman, Khayon, and Mephiston. Mephiston has thus far displayed more destructive capabilities than Ahriman though, but I'm not confident enough to say who wins in a duel between the two.
