I'll do you one more in true Alpha Legion fashion. Alpharius and Omegon swapped minds in the same way Alpharius swapped his mind with one of his marines. This means that the body of Alpharius died BUT it was Omegon who died. That means Alpharius still lives in the body of Omegon thinking he's the real Omegon (likely living as the modern Cypher). This also causes their memories to be altered to forget the change even happened in the first place. This could be undone with code words of course but they were never spoken. We also know that when Alpharius aka Omegon aka Alpharius died, Omegon blacked out. What if the reason he blacked out wasn't that his twin died as many people think, it's because his original body died instead? P.S. I think it was Ingo who died vs Roboute.
@@Bobrob1597 Yes, that is very plausible and I like the addition, since it furthers my reasoning for the original comment, even if with slight alteration. If I recall correctly they did swap their identities way before Pluto station, but it was never written down that they swapped back, which gives further ambiquity for the theory. Also if I’m not incorrect, the twin at Pluto station wore Omegon’s armor and spear. By them switching their identities it would make sense it was Omegon as Alpharius, but if they switched back ”off screen” for the lack of better term, it would himt towards Alpharius as Omegon, both very plausible options. I’m leaning towards the remaining twin being Alpharius, were it by conciously or as his twin since Horus let Alpha pretty much peace out from the Heresy face to face. I doubt he would have taken Omegon as seriously as Alpharius, but that’s just my biased view. If Alpharius was the first found, as he claims, my understanding/recollection is that Alpha Legion were originally the contigiency plan if the Imperium were to fall, but as it’s Alpha Legion it’s impossible to be certain. The remaining twin being Cypher is something I haven’t thought myself, but it would make sense due to their purpose as mentioned earlier. The fact that Cypher was stopped by Custodes in the Imperial palace and was told ”It’s not the time yet” when trying to get to the throne room with the sword he carries, would further the theory. Also the Alpha legionnaires in stasis under the palace whom requires their activation phrase for loyalist or traitor allegiance would drive the ”contigency plan” theory further. I truly hope Alpha will get their Primarch back one day. I think it would make a great storyline to activate the Legion under the palace as Loyalists to oppose Harrowmaster, who has denied the twins agenda and legacy and aims to bring Imperium down.
I also like this theory. It's said that they were one soul in 2 bodies, what If when one of their physical bodies died the soul went back to a point of origin... The other body. So in fact the soul becomes one again, thus completing Alpharius Omegon into one being.
Dorn never listened to *anyone*. Even Nathaniel Garro, who was almost killed for trying to pass a message that Dorn absolutely refused to believe. I always thought that when he built all those walls that he filled his head with concrete as well.
One point of contention with the video. If memory serves by that point Dorn had already resolved to execute his traitor brothers and unlike a certain furry fuck Dorn doesn't fuck around. At this point even if Alpharius/Omegon surrendered he would more than likely put his chainblade through their forehead. Only rational option left would have been to disengage and flee.
