- Take a look at this upcoming game developed in Unreal Engine 4 called Omega Phenex Commenced Project Six. We played this full exclusive preview alpha demo with RTX 4090 in a 4K monitor (no commentary). This gameplay is a work in progress and the final version of the game will be released in Steam. This Japanese action game features futuristic mecha robot vehicle battles in a post-apocalyptic world that will remind you of the original Armored Core!
Omega Phenex Commenced Project Six is a mech action game in which you control a humanoid mech that can be freely customized. You will become a pilot of the mech Icarus, which has tremendous maneuverability. You will enjoy a fight and face large powerful armies and rivals by moving from skimming the surface of the sea to the cloud with Icarus. This game is a high-speed mech shooting game capable of firing massive amounts of missiles.

I like how the internet is correcting a game for being described as armored core like, claiming it's less like AC when the game was made as a fan game of Armored Core 4. I remember reading talks about this game back when 5 was releasing thinking it would be the year of the mecha...that went well lol Took us a decade but lately we've been eating better than we did between VD and AC6. Can't wait to play this.
People saying it looks like Project Nimbus don’t realize that PN was based on the faster paced 4th gen AC games. Crazy how many people don’t realize that a game called Armored Core SIX has prequels.
@@ZZMonkeysUncleZZ Expect they're refering to the lack of leg variety, cause all I see here so far are bipeds, so this looks more like gundam to me than AC.

And the legs aren't what makes a game armored core or not.
After all, leg variety was preety scarce in the earlier titles of the franchise.
Because armored core 4 didn't play like armored core. That game played more like ace combat than a mech game.

You know, I love that there are a lot of new mecha games coming out but I would love to see a remaster or new entry to the MechAssault series!

Its always interesting how when people say its like "Armored Core" but are referring to single entry in the franchise where you fly on the sky all the time like a drone and shoot.
What kind of armored core are you playing?

@@Vespyr_ legs mattered a ton in 4th gen, but back when this game was just a whisper on the internet it was being touted as an armored core 4 like experience. Honestly it just returned out of the blue for a lot of us that fell off following. AC 4 and FA are no less AC than the first 3 generations of games though, and VD eventually gave the possibility of near unlimited OB, and 6 reduced mobility compared to 4th gen but not unbearably so. We are at a point now where half of the generations were slow in AC and the other half could dance circles around the first half.
@@jerryknudsen7898 when 4/4a are the outliers by a longshot both in terms of speed and balance (just dual AR your way through everything because nothing really forces you to change) I'd say they really are the less AC like games. Also the outliers (before 6) in being the only ones on xbox

Would like to see customization of components outside of weapons and colorization. Would also like to see something that looks more challenging than shooting bullet sponges.
That HUD could use either use a SMART system to change color when it's merging too much with a color it's looking into, or hopefully you can change it and make that thing like a dark red or bright ass green. That white on sky hurts to try and make out the targets half way through there.
Other than that, this is legit. But I'm gonna hope for co op missions, maybe even some larger locations of operations. It did give me the idea of having some home town fights and such where if some of the areas get damaged it could effect some out of combat menus. Like lieser time locations could wind up looking a bit damaged or even temporarily be closed down between some missions and / or time.
mech lovers are eating good for the past 3 years.
The only thing I don't like is how the mecha is always pointing its guns forward.
I do hope this game comes to console we need more fast past mecha games

the AC like only in this game is the Gen3 looking parts. after all you can make your own Nineball copy in this game but close to Gen4 AC game but more Project Nimbus due to the camera Aim

Looks like it would be relatively fun to play on mute, but these games would be more fun if they would at least make cover and obstructions that weren't immediately invalidated by the flight system. Even that city in that one scene may as well not be there between the targeting system and how much airtime the mech gets. Your machine has legs, maybe make mech games that involve using them more often.

I can say it looks like AC, but that's probably where all the similarities end. hahahaha
Yeah let's all slap "Armored core-like" label in every mecha game that has speedy bipedal mechas, and yet forgot that's not what makes Armored core as it is. I've yet to see any mecha games that has more than just another mobile suit, because this is more like gundam to me.
I'd really prefer something more tactical and deliberate instead of the twitchy, never-stop-moving, run-and-gun direction that AC chose from AC4 onward.
On the other hand, will I still buy this if it offers lots of customization and is well-made? Yep.
Do i hear build and build failed sound in unreal engine?

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
Otherwise game looks Okay, at most, I just wished the AC's didn't look so clean and shiny(I've only played Ac6 but from what I've seen 'Clean and shiny' aren't words I'd use to describe Any AC ever.) I guess an easier way to describe what they looked like to me is that they looked like toy robots. And I don't mean like a Gundam model kit I mean like dinotrux, if anyone remembers that, but squeaky clean.

Hmm, no lock on and no customization? Glad this exists but it might not be for me. Not really a fan of FPS games and this mostly seems to play like one, but again glad to have the genre getting new entries.
Most of the video is just shooting birds with gatling gun, what about other weapons, and combat at different ranges? suit on suit fight?

ok so i only played AC6 and Project Nimbus, few thing for this gameplay.
- weird voice generated for the system but dialog is full voice acted in japanese
- terrible aim assist to the point its pointless
- and wow that gatling gun never overheat
lastly this game is look like rejected ps3 game, well good luck for the developer.

i crave more armored core and FROM/Sony haven't put the other AC games on PC. until that happens, i will continue to crave more AC-like games.

because between FROM AC5 to AC6 took decade absent this game made for close that gap but AC6 just came out of nowhere before this game finished the good thing its feel like more AC game than AC6
Ugh evangelion colors... no wonder all they showed for customization was colors vs parts. It was about kaiju more than mechs with custom parts (internal/external). Low hopes for this as an AC fan.
This is a dead rip off of Prodject Numbus PS4 a FANTASTIC GAME. I bet it's the same dev team...
