@@jayalvarez7947 find a good moisturizer(i really like mielle organics hair milk or texture id's styling creme) and make sure you are cleansing your hair so that there's no product build-up and so that your hair can fully absorb the product after wash (don't over shampoo lol)
I absolutely love this style. I have 4c tightly coiled hair and I struggle with styles because my edges are thin. I think this style will work. Glad I found this channel...Subscribed!
I alternate between buns and twist outs (specifically mini-twists). I don't take my hair out unless it's a special occasion. Also haven't done a wash and go since 2017. I cannot be bothered.
Being able to simply take my satin scarf off and maybe touch up my edges slightly, is thee best thing ever in the mornings. It leaves me with time to actually do my brows!

Thanks for the inspo! I’m near the beginning of my journey, transitioned 10 months then chopped in December. I love getting to know my hair but damn does it take up my entire life!! I have NO ONE in my life that understands my (call a spade a spade) obsession. They’re all either white or relaxes and don’t care lol i started my own hair channel solely to fine people to discuss hair with! But now doing my hair takes even longer because I’m now talking through it. My hair is hella short (for now), and trying to find easy hairstyles for wash day. So far every one is a fail, but you’re 20 minutes into my wash day videos until you figure that out lol. I BINGED pretty much all of your content early last year and only from there branches out to find my 12 or so favorite natural hair you tubers. I’m finding it’s a trend with all the popular ones now saying they want to branch out into other areas because the well has pretty much dried up over the few years they’ve been doing this. I totally get it. But you’ve all created brands and your own businesses out of this, so spread your wings. People will hate cuz that’s human nature but you have a large enough following. You’ll continue to flourish, so more power to you and thanks for the great video. Your old routine was EXTRA lol so I appreciate this more achievable one (I did your old one through my transition). I ramble. This is why my wash fav videos are 20 minutes 🙄

I dont know if you're just sensitive about what and how she said it, but it wasn't "passive aggressive" to me. what she said was true. through and through. like I said before, it's her channel and she can do whatever she wants to do. just because she started her channel doing hair videos doesn't mean that's the only thing she can do for the rest of her channel life. it's up to the people who dont only care about her hair videos, but love her as a person who really matter. they're the ones who'll stick by her no matter what her content is. hair videos and all. Braids are protective styling as well easy maintenance low key already styled once braided.All you need to do is buy the extra hair or stick with what you have.😁👍🏿✔💯
You could see the part still goes all the way back and the separation between the two sides kinda look off. But at the end of the day, those edges were most certainly laid
I always detangle with conditioner before I shampoo and deep condition and I've noticed that makes a HUGE different in how quickly I can detangle and how soft my hair feels at the end of my wash day.

Hi lovely, I know exactly how you feel! During the winter months I've had my hair in a satin hat! I wash it and do all that good stuff and plait or twist it and back under the hat it goes. I really can't be bothered to style it, make sure it looks good but now we're approaching autumn I will have to bring it back out again lol. Loved the 1st style but not too sure on the 2nd I literally thought you were going to do something with it lol. Wasn't a style I would have gone out in to be honest looked a little crazy and messy! 😊❤
