It will be interesting to see how it works out.. I would love to scale it up to cover all the kitchen scraps.. if successful 😀

I agree with Andy, it was very interesting. You taught me a lot. I can't wait to see how this works out. I remember as a kid. I used to play with worms then use them for bait. Great video❤😎

Those were some lucky worms 🪱 they were in my bait boxes, and the last time I had worms in them, I was perch fishing 🤣

Hey mate, first visit. It's always good to see someone switched on to how great compost worms are.
The worms don't like light so they are unlikely to try to escape through those holes unless the conditions inside get very bad.
Just make sure to keep lots of carbon in there (Leaves and cardboard/paper) compared to veg scraps.
Cheers! ps. Listen to AJ he knows his stuff.😊

Thank you for the tips 😀 very grateful for yours and Aj's advice... so far, so good with the worms... I'm careful not to get too enthusiastic and overload the setup with kitchen scraps 🙃

Earth worms and composting worms function differently inside a worm bin. Earth worms burrow, composting worms stay more above the soil. Starting is the best way to learning new things. Great video.

@@WearyWolfAdventures Everything looks great. When you check on your worms, they will let you know if they are happy or not.

Very cool Amigo. Cornmeal works well to cleanse earthworms. Worked for us at least. We brought worms from the countryside, in town, for our garden. This was many moons ago. Family needs not know, what goes on in the kitchen sometimes? Better off? LOL. You made A good combination for the worms. It should work nicely. Stay safe, keep warm. Peace, John. Tell the family hello please. John. ATB.

Interesting video. I don’t think that tap water will cause any problem with your worms. I’ve done it for 30 years with no problems. Just try things and see how they work, that’s what you are doing. Once you’ve done this for a while you can then be more definitive based on your experience. Vermi composting is very easy to do, you sometime loose worms, you sometimes get fruit flies, you sometimes need to add shredded newspaper or paper or cardboard, it will become natural for you in time. Based on what I saw you need more water. You are very brave to be doing the public videos - I still haven’t been able to do that :). Also almost 1000 subscribers!!!

I was nervous when starting out... first few months I was very awkward filming... slowly get used to it.. figured what's the worst that can happen 🙃 no one likes the content, and no one watches 😅 so close to the 1000 Milestone 😬... off to give the worms some more water 👍

. i have an open compost bin at the back of the allotment where all harvested plants go to be broken down and the bin is where home and other stuff is put. spent today clearing an area for a polytunnel as ive not gone down that route yet. seems as the months go by im constantly changing my mind on how i want things to work for that growing season. great content and really enjoying the videos. o7 sir and keep up the good work.

Nice.. I have a similar setup composting wise to you then 😀 with the open compost bays at the plot and compost bins in the garden 👍 in looked at polytunnels but think iv bite more than enough off for this first year! What are you planning to grow in them?... I change my plan constantly at the moment 🙃
