- Wild Side & Shout at the Devil, Motley Crue, Hersheypark Stadium, Hershey, PA; July 12th, 2022; The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett; 1st 2 songs of the set
They've been touring, partying, living the rock star life for over 40 years, what do you expect? All you critics insert YOUR resume' HERE:
When you are an athlete you have to maintain a certain level of athleticism to provide what it take to be an athlete. See where I’m going with this.
They are fucking kicking ass! Anybody that says otherwise is completely ignorant and can STFU! Pittsburgh show August 12th!
What are we third grade? A 'neener neener, you can't do better?' Jeff if you can't get beyond hero worship and see a washed up cash grab, then I don't know what to tell you.
@@mitchcarson6309 Yes Mitch. I've quietly been formulating a theory that many Crue fans would be perfectly happy if they mimed their whole gig. Their fans just want to see THEM. Get out there, prance about, collect check. Nikki should dig that.
Just saw them recently (originally went for Joan Jett and Poison), and I had the most amazing experience. The atmosphere was electric and the crowd was phenomenal. There were people from all over, and the open-mindedness in the crowd was beyond refreshing. I understand the perspective is different from the older generations who have seen the bands in their prime time. They definitely don't have what they used to anymore, we all know that. But how could they? People age, people change, and that's inevitable. Coming from the perspective of a teenage girl (so credible, I know) I just appreciate the fact that good music is good music. Just because they suck now does not erase what they have put out in the world, or the memories people have made with it. If they were lip synching, people would still call them out and be fed up. But at least they're trying, and with that still bringing people together. For those like me, younger and more inexperienced, this is the closest we'll ever get to what once was. The adrenaline that night reminded me that I was alive, and why this music still inspires me today.
Damn straight. It's more about the experience, the memories, and what part of life you were in, when you first heard/saw them on MTV...LOL🤟
t, you make excellent points. I was a huge fan in the 80’s when I was a teenager. I’m still a huge fan. It’s nostalgia. It’s what it reminds me of...being young, good times, the good old days, ROCK & METAL MUSIC...ya, all singers lose the times when their voices were the best, but it’s about their contribution & their bringing people tgthr for good times! I ❤️ Crue’s music!
He don’t sound bad! Gotta give him credit, it’s not 1989 and they’re still rocking!
I love that their a tad sloppy..it's all about fun live! Looks crowded..so their doing something right 🤘
It was CrAzY🔥we didnt wanna leave🤘🏽🤩💞
Nice cinematography Jim, well done. Thanks for posting this, I saw more here than when I was actually there in Hershey. We were on the field in the back & the smoke they put up from mid stadium blocked our view alot, even of the screens. Again, thanks!
smoke was sad...unnecessary......
Vince sounding pretty good here!!!
😶
Row a10 here. Had fantastic night!!!
Mick Mars is the band!!!! Without him ,no more motley Crue. There is no bass in this band, very little. Tommy is great on drums. But Mick is the glue , the ballbearings that keeps it rolling
Except half his parts are pre recoded.
Thanks rock and roll
Love it💓rock on
Shout for a refund.
When Neil screeches "zigabibbidoodao" it really speaks to me on a deep level 😢
Was in the section behind you.. they definitely took away his teleprompter I was also at the Philly concert and he sang a lot more words, well as much as words that he can sing. Great freaking concert nevertheless especially Tommy's part giving the whole stadium a show 😂
this looks fun to be at
I don’t care what anyone says, Vince is a lot better than he was this time last year!
That's sad
Thank you🤟❤️🎶
These two songs in particular are killer track from crue \m/
No autotune. All heart. Yea he may struggle with some of the songs, but he's still doing it! And that is an INSANELY high register to sing in. Especially at 62 years old. I mean we're talking higher than Freddy Mercury here..
You're clueless. LMAO! Queen played in A-440 tuning. This is a whole step down and Vince Meal still can't do it right LOL.
Freddy Mercury puts him to shame.
@@markusaurelius777 ok ok lets not shit on him too bad ive been a crue fan since i was 3 years old and hes still killing it. Not at freddies level...but still rockin🔥🤘🤘
@@wildgames594 Still killing it LMAO.
GRILLS GRILLS GRILLS
@@markusaurelius777 Comment when u come up with better jokes🙄😒
@@wildgames594 Let your Butt Hurt flow.
I filmed these 1st 2 songs from center area 3 rows behind the catwalk. Bass in this video is way jacked up for band - this spot has too much reverb. Sounds better from the far left area in the same section filmed rest of show from. Simply 20 seats different area. Odd how each area has different sound to it.
Excellent work, as always. Thanks!
You couldn't really hear Mick that much he was drowned out by Tommy and Nikki at least from where I was
At least Vince is trying to sing and not lip syncing like other bands . He’s damned if he does . He’s damned if he doesn’t . Haters be hating 😡
It's not hating when he's lazy and skipping lyrics, but he's at least trying now
@@XxSEETH3RxX People are not only expecting 1985 Vince but also Vince on the record, he was never a great singer to begin live with much like David Lee Roth. People just having unreasonable expectations
@@BryanX64 You're right he never really was Even Mick Mars says he wasn't
@@BryanX64 exactly go look at their early shows
He sounds awful but that crowd is moving
Studios often have trucks to make singers sound wayyyyyy better
@@BryanX64 bruh you cannot listen to things from 1987-1997 and say he sounded like shit live cause Vince actually sounded pretty damn killer way way better then David Lee Roth in his prime
The legend of Vince Meal continues! 48oz tomahawk steaak before every show and boxes of twinkiesz in the dressing room! Sorry missed this one, Jim. We go to a lot of the same shows and knew you'd host/post this one for us!
So sad. I was a crew member on the Girls Girls Girls tour. They were badass back then....they are a shell of what they used to be... especially Vince Meal.
And what have you done with your life since then? Ironically they are still more successful than you'll ever be, but still you talk shit 😂
“Vince Meal” lmaoooo
I mean… that was what, 35, 36 years ago?
i was there
kickdrum kills😁
Kills the entire sound. Way too loud.
Mötley Crüe should have been headlining this they are blowing those other bands off the stage every night.
Robert, can you honestly say you actually believe that? You think THIS absolutely HORRIBLE singing is blowing the others off the stage? It's embarrassing. Just plain AWEFUL! Almost unlistenable.
Yeah!! 🤘🏻😎
@@kellyremple1041 hell yeah I was there last night and they did the best job imo
@@kellyremple1041 dude look the phone recordings do not do any justice to the live show. Some things that sound bad on here only sound bad because some of the tones are louder than the music. When it's mixed and heard live it's awesome I can promise you that. Cuz he's pretty close to the key even when he's off key a little. Live you would never hear that. But with a phone, especially one that's recording close to the stage, you are going to hear a shifty mix, and some of those vocals are way too loud in some spots and way too low in others. I've heard this same song on other phones recording back further and it sounds awesome. He's giving it hell even if it wasn't 100 percent AMAZING. That's all you need I Rock N Roll. You do realize that vocal register he's singing in is literally higher than Freddy Mercury... it's crazy to even think about doing that at 62 when you've blown your voice out touring your whole life
@@hunterwest54 I have seen Motley Crue 15 times. Vince sucks live. Bret Michaels is a much stronger performer, as is Joe Elliott. Vince is SOOO bad in fact, that even die hard Crue fans like myself are embarrassed by his God awful, sloppy singing at the shows. As far as the Freddie Mercury reference, I will pretend you didn't make that comparison.
Shout at the Devil needs to be reworked to go along with the loss of Vince's falsetto range... No reason not to figure out a way to carry on with the iconic song without making Vince struggle out of his range.
Vince singing is funny.
Honestly, not that bad considering Vince is pushing 60. Tommy still has it
Vince finally starting to sound somewhat decent... he was never a great live singer but at least on this tour he finally seems to be putting in the effort to be good
If you say so. Lol. Mumbling helium voice.
Why are they making the verse for Shout at the Devil sound like nu metal on the string instruments?
There's no such thing as living in the moment anymore. It's all about filming everything and putting that shit on YT asap.
Listen to the band Ancient Days
Vince meal 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Crue Kicking Ass
Hahahaha
Why am I only hearing drums?
Sad! Glad I saved my money and didn't go.
Wow Shout at the Devil vocals sounds worse than Kickstart.
Jesus. Saw crue in 2010.
This is just sad.
Props to mick mars!
Am I the only one who hates the new way they play SATD? Thank God for Mick and Tommy!
1997 version. New? 😂
@@scottdecker3 To us old skool 1983 SATD bangers, yes its new ;)
Saw them in Hershey Pa Vince Neil Sucked!!! Good thing for Tmmey Lee and Nikki Sixx!
Vince didn’t sound good n the 80s that’s why there’s no real live albums from them.
Tommys really letting the tempo down here. Vince is hitting the notes just very quietly.
seen em back in the 80's live, they rocked. Glad I didn't waste money going to this.... not the same, but I do understand they old as dirt now so.......but so am I lol.........
Vince Meal!
Def Leppard headline?
They should cuz Motley Poo suxx.
Def Leppard knocked it out of the park let me tell you
There wasnt one person not singing Defs lyrics. Felt incredible to be there❣️
They undoubtedly should be closing every show. This is sad.
Shout at the playbacks
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON🤠
Garbage, that's what LOL
The future is OURS or GUNS?
I’m sorry, everyone else sounds great. Vince never could sing good. He used his charisma. Seems he has lost it.
Shit Brett Michael's blows Vince away and loves the crowd. This is terrible after watching Poisons profomance
parade of middle aged old guy guts. *LOL.
Middle aged old? 🤔
@@tomt6142 middle-aged / old guy - guts. Is that better? *L
why is mick playing shout at the devil like that? he’s throwing in some stupid chord that isn’t actually anywhere on the track.i’m not shit talking him i love mick mars, just whatever he’s doing makes the song not sound like motley crue. probably had to slow the pacing down for vince 😐
The geriatrics department is playing at about half speed. What nonsense.
Sneeze onme Amen 🙏 huh? Lol crisis father 👩🍼 he's texting in his head. Poor Vince 😆
Should have retired back in 2014
Jesus he should of retired during his retirement tour he scammed his fans from
He can't even sing his songs properly anymore dude needs to get in shape this is insane their charging $200 a ticket for that
My god 200, really?!? I paid 20 bucks to see a Crue cover band that was miles better than this bullshit.
Ha, I'm going to see Maiden for way less than this train wreck 🚂
@@phantoms-yy5jv speaking of tribute bands I would like to suggest checking out The Iron Maidens, the all female tribute to Maiden, they're freaken great
@@justinnatasmai4503 yes,I got to see them a couple years ago, Courtney's one of my fave female guitarists and Paradise kitty( gnr cover band) opened up for them, they were great too!!
Ridiculous. Nikki looks funny with his hair club for men black hair dye. The "we want the money" nostalgia tour keeps going. Just a washed up act rehashing their 80s songs. Pathetically boring. Sleaze rock doesn't age well.
Vince rules!
Vince sounds bad still, and why is he wearing someone s grandma's robe
Ha, little do you know,he raided Stevie Nicks' dressing room and obscounded with that outfit
It belongs to Helen Roper.
How come Sweden gets a great Rock festival and we get this shitty trainwreck of a concert🤔?
They had their final tour years ago should have kept it that way Nikki and Vince look like two heffers that can barely hold their own and mick mars I mean come on is he dead playing weekend at Bernie’s. The only one carrying them is tommy
Without mick ,no motley
This might be in the minority opinion but Motley Crue was at their best with Lou Dorchen on vocals
this is an awesome time, but if you go to see Motley Crue do not sit first few rows, the mix is horrible, and Nikki spits loogies.....
If you do the Def Leppard meet and Greet, I wish you luck and hopefully they show some personality this time
But it was a fun show in nashville, I look foreward to seeing it in San Francisco
That’s why I would never pay for a meet n greet. The bands don’t really wanna meet you. It’s just a cash grab. Metallica doesn’t charge for meet n greets to their fan club members.
I saw Crue and Poison 2011 2nd row. Nikki Sixx would drink this red liquid from a small hose attached to a mic stand (I think), but he would spit it all over us in the front rows. I left with my shirt drenched in it. I was so drunk and high during the show I thought it was cool, the next day realized how gross it really was.
vince is the worst live vocalist in the history of music.......
Better than all rappers and pop singers
@@semihsirin2966 i seen motley crue in 1984 and he couldnt sing good live even back then i love the crue but its the truth
@@carpetbob496 yes it can be that he is love not so good than in studio but I seen there are live vid how he sound good and 100 Prozent he sound every time better than a rapper who sing with auto tune und playback an shit
@@carpetbob496 He never could sing live LMAO !!! Over-hyped crap.
@@semihsirin2966 I hate rap, but rappers are even better than this pile of shit band LOL
Their sound was awful in Detroit
Vince still sucks. OMG I can't listen to him. He's so off on tune.
Hey! That’s awesome! Let’s connect?
Tommy Lee is one badass dude. Beat them drums hellya.
