Funny how Metallica are the only stable band since this recording. Three out of four members of Megadeth are gone.... Anthrax had a guitar player leave after this... and Slayer had a member die and they are now retired
And even though Megadeth's roster has been rotated, their vision and style remain true to their origins, only improving with every iteration. Kiko Loureiro and Dirk Verbeuren are just as phenomenal as the former members they replaced, and I have no doubt it will be the same for David Ellefson's replacement!

I don't think Megadeth has more consistency, I mean, it's all personal preference, but I feel with megadeth it's either hit or miss, either the song is UNREAL, or it fucking blows, sadly with both bands most of their newer stuff blows. I am not a fan what so ever of last 3 albums, cannot bring myself to enjoy them at all. But old megadeth, i fucking LOVE IT... driving down the road speakers ready to blow letting megadeth penetrate my ears HNNNG
