    Hey, been trying to get Into feeder fishing for a while but was absolutely terrible at it. Watched a few of your videos and went at it again.
    Today I had an unbelievable day on feeder catching roach and skimmers! Thanks a mill for all the tips. Keep the vids coming.

    The green algae bloom has subsided, the floating green layer is the dead algae. Algal blooms happen when there is an excess of oxygen and nitrates in the water. As it gets colder and we get a few winter storms across the lakes the dead algae will sink to the bottom and disappear until it warms up. Damien, nice video, very comprehensive instruction on feeder fishing deep waters. Good job.

    fished,sillan recently and that green stuff was there as well! think its some sort of algae?

    • @irishfeeder7289
      @irishfeeder7289  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I think it is algae, but I never seen it in the winter when the water is cold, quite strange 🤷🏻

    im wondering has the green algae anything to do with the dairy factory in shercock?

    • @irishfeeder7289
      @irishfeeder7289  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure, there's no dairy factory around the lake I fished , so hard to say

    No used feeder gum??

    • @irishfeeder7289
      @irishfeeder7289  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There's no reason to use feeder gum if your hook length line is over 0.11 in diameter, unless you're thinking to catch bigger fish, don't forget more stuff you have on your rig more tangle you get and the rig is heavier
