This is a Gameplay Video from Sonic Frontiers for the Nintendo Switch. In the final Update 3, a new mode titled "Another Story" has been introduced by Sega, known as the Final Horizon DLC. This story unfolds after the events that took place on Rhea Island, where Sonic the Hedgehog was rescued by his friends Amy, Tails, and Knuckles. Sonic now seeks their assistance in locating the Chaos Emeralds. Each of them scatters across Ouranos Island, racing against time to reach their destination before the menacing entity, Supreme, makes an appearance. Meanwhile, Sonic faces the challenge of ascending the Trial Towers of the Kocos, conquering the trials within to unlock his hidden Super Sonic power. As always we will do a full game with no commentary. This will be a 100% Guide which includes locating all Map Koco and Skill Piece Koco items scattered throughout the island, collecting all Red Rings, Number Rings, Moon Medals, and achieving an S Rank in each of the new Cyberspace Stages. I nearly blew my brain up out of anger from the second and master king trials.
Exactly the second one is PAIN absolute PAIN
At least the final trial is really hard and blew my brain up out of anger, one of the few most hard parts in Sonic games.
The secret to the second trial is to mash stomp (B/Circle) after 3 hits on each combo you land. I'm not sure why it works, but it gives your combo a lot of extra damage and makes the rebound shorter, I'm pretty sure it gets in a stomp right before the shield drops - yes, a stomp, and since you don't have your skills it's a normal stomp, not the stomp attack. It let me finish the trial with 7.32 seconds spare even though I spent like 36 seconds on the first enemy and figured this trick out on the second.

The last trial was easy for me all you had to do was beat each Titan and when you died you went back to the boss you where on
This entire update was Kishimotos response to people who asked for the boss rushes n stiff we cant lie

For me 3 is ridiculously easy just parry the saw thing that they throw to get closer and hit and when the saw comes back just party again and repeat to beat it easy
I hate how hard the DLC is especially trial 2. I think I’ll change my opinion further down the line.

@@monsterzero2614 easy to say, time is very strict in these, even with that you usually have very few seconds left
doesn't help that for me my R button seem ti be damaged so my parry doesn't register and instead I dodge to the left half the time

In the second challenge, it appears that Sonic is weaker than in your gameplay. It's so strange.

Maybe it's the enemy tier? By the time you reach the white ones in-game you've probably leveled up a lot, so when you get kicked back to Lvl 1 it's more noticeable.
They remove all of your skills you get from upgrading
Your stats are reset to level 1, and you only have cyloop

Edit: I was mad when I made this comment. The last trial was a tough and unfair challenge that you have to basically cheese to finish. Post trials is where the DLC really shines. It wasn't made for casuals but real fans for the game. I was more relieved than happy that the trials were over

Its a beautiful broken mess. That i won't lie, the bugs, and difficulty tweaking is bad. Though what they did was cook. They cooked, but the flavour was off if that makes any sense.

I cant attack the connection between the end and supreme (you know the purple string)
So i dont know how to attack it and im on switch pla help
You have to attack its head and then dodge towards the connection and you'll be able to lock on. It took me way too many replays.

I just moved with L and the lock on the connection appeared. It's like in tutorial when dodging was moving around the ninja enemies.@@ari4ns372

Don't worry, it took me a long time to understand it too, turns out to attack it you need to use the Wild Rush ability, look for an opening to attack the head as normal then after punching it once or twice use the Wild Rush and you should start attacking the cable

You want the crown outfit? You need to complete everything in all islands to get it. Only do this in the base game, you don't have to complete the revamped ouranos (the ouranos with playable characters). So after that, you'll get the "frontier elite" outfit (the crown) that you can equip in the extras menu. Enjoy, king!👑
