Frogsuit is SMB3 but P balloon works underwater too. So Nintendo gave us 2 underwater mobility options.
I love the frog suit. Even if on land without a block. It adds a extra hard thing. I have only played on super Mario Bros 3 with it. But I have seen it on some videos.
You know how carl yells out level makers name when he's frustrated... Moments like "STEEEVOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

widzu95 Found the video. Won’t say where, but there is a hidden block on a track that drops after a minute in its area. The rest is up to you to figure out, or to look up on your own.

Fun fact: This is one of a select few levels PangeaPanga has refused to even TRY to get world record on. And he has actually recently developed a taste for doing some troll levels recently (and has, of course, speed-runned them all).

I found this great after watching panga first simply cause I knew the WHOLE time what had to be done
Feel like I should throw this out there, but: what you described as a soft lock is actually a hard lock. A soft lock is when you can't advance anymore and there is a way to try again. A hard lock is when you can't advance anymore and the only solution is to restart because there is no way you can finish the game. The death rooms are soft locks, in a sense. (you got there by your own mistakes, and need to try again.) A hard lock would be a pipe leading you into a box, with no way to kill yourself.
Considering Mario levels have timers (and check points) though, the concept of a true hard lock is a little lost in it. A true hard lock would be you needing a key, for example, to finish a game, and said key is missable AND in the beginning. You don't find the key, get to end and realize you need it, and your only solution is to restart the entire game.

In case anyone else was suspicious, yes, there's a dev exit. You can look up one of them already on TH-cam (I just looked up the name of the level and "dev exit"). Apparently Carl re-uploaded the level with a new one, which has been found, but not uploaded yet. So yes, Carl purposely made this into the worst kind of garbage, complete with a dirty dev exit. =P
How to ignore the glowing hint and waste minutes on end forcing your way back to the previous part of the room
That one moment where you watch your favorite gamer have a mental breakdown over an evil creator's level
0:00 when you wake up at 3:00 in the morning and try to play music to fall back asleep
Legend tells that this level was not meant to be this evil. But then Juzcook escalated matters SEVERELY with his rom-hack level which attacked Carl not merely at a Mental or Psychological level. But a Spiritual level as well. The Gloves are Off.
