Great angling ,and nice to see u putting em back ,hate to see people ripping hooks out pouring with blood and saying its going back for another day ,i use pools like that too, hate throwing a good fish back to watch it fliat away 😢
@@GraemeLinsel cheers Graham, yeah sometimes I have to take em but when they are lip hooked and when like you say you can keep an eye on it in a pool I try to put them back as often as possible. I love my shellfish but not so much eating fish lol.
Careful mate fishing them rock marks alone at night. Few years ago me and my mate were flattened by a rogue wave, it came from nowhere and even though we were well away from the water it put us both on our knees, lucky to get our gear back, chest waders filled up, we were lucky to crawl off the beach, I always wear a belt round my chest waders now and never fish alone. Take care mate.
@@PaulSedgewick-x3w thanks Paul I always try to take as much care as possible, and try to keep risks to a minimum but the sea is a very unpredictable place and mother nature can turn an innocent situation into a nightmare in the blink of an eye so none of us can ever be truly sure what will happen. Fingers crossed nothing happens but every year people lose they're life's in the pursuit of fish so we all have to be very wary. Thank you for watching 👍
Well done mate, a couple of really nice fish there. I know what you mean about being out on the rocks alone at night its quite intimidating like isn't it, I'm not keen on it!! It fished Canny on Saturday night, I was out with a mate (Vid out Friday 5pm) and we had 11 between us off the beach, there was a lovely little roll just to turn them on canny. Thanks for the video mate, well done, Keep it gan!!
Another great video sid, some cracking codling, you just never know when a good session will happen, that cuttlefish seemed to do the trick with the cart, keep up the hard work, tight lines.
Good session. That little southerly brought some nice fish in around the patch. Great to see catch and release. You’re right to put safety first as well. Always at least one drowning every cod season.
That must be the session you were telling me about the other day graham .. great session that mind .. some lovely fish there 👌🏻🎣 i was hoping youd filmed this session .. thanks for time and graft doing it bud ..👍🏻 tight lines
Ps .. am alwalys calling you graham .. am i getting it wrong ? Knowing me i will be 😂 is it graham sidney or the other way ? Apologies if ive been calling you the wrong name
Yeah it was I did catch a nice four pounder just before the end but the footage was corrupted, I stayed for another 2 casts but didn't get anymore after that.

Lots of good beaches mate , cresswell, Blyth hadston, Whitley bay beach. I love hadston beach as I find it very productive although I also like Blyth beach and found the fish a bit better stamp there. It's all about fishing them at the right times and in the right conditions
@philliphudson5421 yeah I certainly don't mind it, it's fine on the beach aswell as the ruff. Bite detection is excellent, it's light and thin compared to my wr300 and has no problem hauling decent fish in.
@brian-jd8gf no not necessarily, but if the sea is flat I always head for the ruff ground. However if there's a decent southerly or northerly I go straight for beaches or at least places like hadston/ foxton which offer I mix of both
Always good. Vids m8,😊
