Another great vid graham .. all of us blank some sessions so its good that you still vid the blanks .. i fished seaton sluice beach last night but was basically unfishable the sea was so lumpy .. 3m rollers coming in fetching my gear back to the beach in 2 mins .. line mangled with sea grass too .. own fault as just looked at the tides and not the sea forecast .. anyway thanks for ya graft doing the vid .. much appreciated 👍🏻
Great video marra 👏👏I'm picking so many tips off you it's unbelievable..as a west coast lad I'm still learning how to fish Northumberland but loving it over there❤️fished Blyth pier Saturday but one cod on and bumped it off close in..ah well..there's always next time 🤞👍
@@harwoodblades3633 cheers mate, there really is some top fishing around here. Can be great when conditions are nice. Looked today and there is a good northerly sea running so I'm itching to get out again. The pier can always throw some good fish out, I don't usually go too far past the bend, nighttime better but fish still can be caught during the day
@@grahamsidney9214 cheers for the info pal👍fished just past the bend and there were a few coalies out on small baits but I always go big or go home..I went home 😂😂
Saw you at the New Ship Cash match while the weight in yesterday and at first I was like “I recognise you from somewhere” and realised who you were at the presentation haha. Well done on the getting the 5.5lb cod for 3rd place for the competition what you brought to the table too. Tight lines Graham! 🎣
@@grahamsidney9214 Aye definitely mate. Just tried Beadnell (Phone Box) this afternoon, One cast wonder!! Soon as I casted out my rod was over double and I was wresting with it in the current. Tug of war for 1 minute then snapped off. Impossible mate. Packed up and came home.
Cracking video again, Sid. Out is out, fish or not. I was on Provate beach the night before. Flat calm full moon. Lovely night though. Do you mind if i ask what light your using for the Camera? Canny flood.
@@northeastangling I have two different ones , one is a trakker nitelight , I think it's called and the other I think is called fox halo photography light.
Another great video mate, not sure if i should be calling you sid or graham, i like fishing the same spot in those conditions, cant beleive you didnt get any codling, nobody can say you dont put the hours in, keep up the good work, tight lines.
Hi m8 what strength braid are you using, maybe a daft question but im thinking of switching to fixed spools for night fishing and i currently use 25lb mono on my multipliers. Bearing in mine i dont fish rough ground, its either beach or pier for me. cheers steve
@@stevenroberts5885 I stayed away from braid for a longtime while others had made the switch. I love it now. For the beach I use 45lb and 100 braid leader. I used to go 15lb mono with 60lb leader. With braid you get a stronger thinner line. Takes a bit getting used too but I can't go back now. From the rocks I've just been using daiwa J braid 100lb straight through. It will literally pull kelp stalks off the rocks.
@stevenroberts5885 if you were simply overhead thumping I would say possibly not. We used to use 30-40 mono mainlines in the ruff without shock leader but again only if you aren't power casting in any way. Always safer to use a leader though in my opinion

One of those calm, moonlight nights that make you feel glad to be alive despite the lack of fish.
Yeah it definitely scratched the itch, I still had nice night and we can't catch all the time. Luckily the next vid has a bit more action
