Have a great weekend everyone!
You too Ants Pants and family
Thank you and you too Andris
You as well!
Same to you my friend!!🎉
link dose not work to "Steve YT channel page" . have a great weekend man
"I have a giant Russian spy balloon under my dozer" I absolutely lost it
🤣
I’m an old lady who has no interest in maintenance of a vehicle, but I always watch you because you cute and funny. Keep on keepin’ on!!
Hehe. Thanks
Time to make a greenhouse with all that glass. Great video as always!
Great idea!
2:45. Family comes over, sees Ants in a corner talking to himself and eating a banana. Walks away slowly. 😂
:D :D
New subscriber here, brother. I live one county away from Diesel Creek Matt. What a great place for your daughters to be kids - adventures in nature plus eventually learning how to be mechanics and heavy equipment operators! You live in a beautiful part of the world, brother.

We used to drain the oil on machines and put it trough an milkfilter( paper filter on an funnel shaped holder). The filtered oil can be used for a lot of things, we used it for our chainsaws or even fill up our ancient machinery in between oil changes when they use some oil. Easiest way to check if the oil is nay good, after filtration is just put some between your fingers and rub them together. Water will make it rough as well as dirt. Also for use of making wooden poles rot resistent by putting the ends in a bucket with oil and some diesel and let it soak for a night. The wooden beams wil not rot for many decades to come😂
Really enjoy your vids👍👍👍👍 this weekend can not go bust anymore😊 thanks for another great vid👍 together with dieselcreek and andrew camarata i think you guys make the best vids ( every one in their own specific way) on the internet🍺🍺🍺
Back into the fuel tank , them old diesels will burn oil just as good as diesel
Thanks man. really cool of you to mention AC and MATT. Love them both
As long as you realize that even clean used oil has lost lubercating property’s. Don’t use it for serious lube.
One of my neighbours was a former shell ceo, as long as the oil between your fingers is really slick, he would not change it in his car😂 he was from the development department and called most oilchanges scamms😂😂😂
@@jankrijnen7374 he also made enough money, that he was the scam
I bet that's the first time the dozer has had such a thorough clean since it was new. Great as always dude!
I assume so 😅
You should make a greenhouse with the glass panels! I’m sure your the ladies in the house will love it
Awesome video Andris,Kirk from Louisiana,USA! Stay safe my friend!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇪🇪🇺🇸🇪🇪🇺🇸🇪🇪✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
I like your maintenance videos. Reminds me of my dad when he would work on his equipment. Looking forward to Part 2.
glad you like them. Good memories
Imagine if you’d taken it to a Service Agent to do that work! The labour costs alone would be astronomical. I’ll give you 10/10 for commitment and tenacity Andris. Holding my breath for Part 2. Oh, and, make a greenhouse 🌻🌷🪴for your mum out of that glass from your Santa friend. I’m sure she’d appreciate it. Cheers from Australia🔧🔩⚙️🇦🇺🦘
Yes it would have been huge. The previous owner did this and he showed me the bill. They did not much work on it (maybe 20% what i did in this video) and the price was around 4k$
This guy is great, like AC but with more humor 😄
AC DC 😁( Diesel Creek)
haha :D
Gives a grin to my face every time you say solient instead of soviet 😁
Keep it up!

Nice to see a set of polish copper seals. Greetings from Poland!
Hey friend!
After watching you clean that Soviet Dozier, I think I need to take a bath. That dirt made it all the way to Brisbane, Australia!
Oof 😂
Great video Ants! Quite a chore when it comes to heavy equipment.
Tell me about it
can always build a greenhouse with that alot of extra window
need more windows.
@@Ants_Pants well did say was just 1/3 ^^
You are an inspiration to all of your channel watchers whether we understand heavy equipment or not. You have a great work ethic and a dry and very funny sense of humor. Please keep up the good work!
I'm watching this from my Tallinn hotel room!
I just yesterday was in Tallinn. Went to the zoo on 9th july
That was satisfying watching you pressure wash it, a hundred pounds lighter now. Boy the blade linkages are clapped out, but you certainly have experience fixing them. Cool birthday present 🎁.
Thanks 😇
LOVELY OLD BEAST .
Good job! Looking forward to watching your projects every week.
Thanks so much!
That oil you drained looks like its way to thin, like diesel got in it. Great videos, glad I found your channel!
thanks mate. Yes it was too thin, i will keep an eye on the new oil
Another great video , you are really giving the old fella a new lease on life . Love your perseverance . well done !
Thanks 👍
I think it is fantastic, first clean the machine. I see comments that it is a waist of time to clean. Dad ran a large shop until retirement. They had a sign, i remember. “OUR SHOP IS CLEAN OUR TOOLS ARE CLEAN OUR COVERALLS ARE CLEAN KEEP IT THAT WAY CLEAN YOUR EQUIPMENT OR DON’T BRING IT IN. that was the busiest shop in the area. They wouldn’t touch anything that was greasy mud, dirt packed, dripping with oil, there was a hose and wash station next door. That was quite busy. People, farmers, realized it cost less to have their people, children clean their equipment than to take filthy stuff to . Joes fixit.
went quite well m8 yeah
The last owner of that dozer believed in maintenance like Rasputin believed in hygiene.🍻
😂
All diseases comes from washing. No washing=no disease.
Ants pants and diesel creek are the only chanels i watch regularly and look forward to watching😁
:) Matt is great i enjoy his content also
This is Amazing... Im learning from a Estonian Man... 😊😊😊
Rock on!
Build your mother a green house with the glass panels! She will love you even more!
cool idea
Good call in doing the service. Great thanks to the shout out as well. I think the rake breaking was like I have had it with this work.🤣 It's just my guess but maybe the T-170 high pressure fuel pump has been swapped out to a remanufactured pump later? It looks kind of very newish to say the least. I could not find the year when they switched over to the newer style high pressure fuel pump. The high pressure fuel pump on these is a old CAT D4/D6 clone/remanufactured variant. The one on your T-40 is a UTN-5 that is a old Bosch inline pump being redesigned by soviet engineers in the 60s. I would not be surprised if these where the old OEM paper elements in the hydraulic filter. Over all good and very decent progress, keep on going.
Tänx! ma alles nüüd jõuan kommidele vastada :D
Looking good! Glad to see that thing getting some TLC! Nice crocs BTW- I have the same ones! 😄
thanks mate. Their great
Ant, you are the funniest Mofo on youtube and like Superman you are stronger than steel! LOL. You deserve your own TV show. Keep posting videos brother and I'll keep watching. Love your channel.
funnies mofo :D good one bro 👍🤣
Great vid, part 2 coming up 😊
Coming soon!
Quite a lot of work to keep that dozer running.
you only know the half of it :D watch next ep if you wanna know more :)
Informative episode. Fun looking at that old machinery with your sense of humor.
Looked like the hydralic oild filter was jammed in ther whish squished it?
Have a great weekend :)
yup, i figured this out a bit later
Every time after a short ride with the dozer you need a landscape gardener , for one who likes that can be nice . So you can also redsign your Garden !
Yes i do 😂
Your dozer is better maintained than my car :D
hahaha :D i doubt that mate
That fuel filter is a water separator, the small plug on the bottom can be used to drain the water off.
or mud
Great work on the Soviet dozer and relax with the family on the slide 👍💨💨
Thanks 👍
We just wash the oil filter for the turbo and its ok. The oil filter for the engine (centrifu....😅) you almost opened. After you unscrew the 32 or 36 mm nut it doesnt always fall apart, sometimes you need to hit it with hamer or something to get those two parts opened/seperated. It is important to clean the inside of it. Also there you can see if you have small metal peaces to your used oil and then you know if your engine is bad😅. Small amount of metal peaces is okey but if you find a lot of them then you know your engine have few time left ti live. Anyway nice video. It was fun to watch. I hope you understood what I said, because my english is really bad😁
i understood everything very well :) Thanks for the info
That FOV of the dozer had me on edge. I was bracing for an explosion. Eider firing a tank shell from it or just spontanious combustion.
A+++ Would watch again.
oof :D
Don't let this go to your head or anything, but I just watched an hour+ video from you hero AC and I have to tell you that your channel is so much better. I like the fact that you don't have a huge budget. I like the fact that your commentary is Grade A. I really like the fact that you work hard and make things work even if it's wrong. You should have 5 million subs, but I don't mind that you're one of the best kept secrets of YT. I will never send you a gift.
That is awesome!
thanks ✌
From Acme Car Wash LLC
What a coincidence! We have just opened up a Bulldozer washing line and it has been doing well.
Our prices range from $600 to $1,000 depending on the size of your Dozer.
We are also in the process of opening money saving automatic drive through line for only $299.
COME ON DOWN!
I'm already half way there buddy
Equipment repair is my favorite content
Mine too
Another great video Andris. I really appreciate your sense of humor!
Thanks
So you have your 1st merch for a store!!!! 1 Sock origin unknown... found in a dozer....
🤣🤣🤣
The garden rake is one of my favorite tools , great for putting the final touches on a job. Most operators are deathly afraid of them🪒💪👍
😅 mine too
You’re the man from fixing dozer , welding n a simple rake fixing…..
haha
Once again great content 😊
Thank you so much 😀
When you're done it'll run like new.
😇😇
Love to see you make a greenhouse with all that glass great work on the maintenance of the doser
Yeah
Now that you serviced the tractor n cleaned it..and this n that..time to keep it out of the rain/snow/weather in a nice glass shed 😊 ya goofy m8te from Australia
You got that right!
40:43 I sense a glasshouse build video in our future...
😅
Hello. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. I take it a nice large greenhouse is in order with all that free glass😆😆
Sounds great!
@@Ants_Pants think of all the Herbs!!! and spices you could grow in a greenhouse
I thought the opening few minutes were you and your humoristic ways at there very best ,Andris, the driving it down to the workshop was pure magic, ,,then it got all serious which is also OK as servicing a massive monster like the dozer is a very methodical job, and even though you joke a lot you are a bit of a perfectionist at what you do,.You too have a fab weekend, Pamela
:) Thanks Pamela
Great episode Ants…. Looking forward to the second part….. have great wend 🎉🍺😎💥👍
Thanks 👍
I'm glad I don't have a dozer.. there is a lot to maintain 😅Well done so far!
Thanks 👍
You could make some sort of greenhouse out of the glass?
yup
Hey buddy, make a greenhouse for your wife and your mom. You can make it as big as you want with all that extra glass panels around.
Yup
40:50 hmm, yeah... You need a new fancy Greenhouse 😂
😂
Lots of work! Really messy! LoL But if I had my own bulldozer I would gladly do it too!
You could make you mother and or wife a green house out of that glass or in close a porch for the cooler times of year. Whatever you do I’m sure it will be great! As always, enjoy the videos!😊
Greenhouse was my first thought also.
Great idea!!
My thought was an enclosed porch, too.
You are lucky to have a wonderful Wife and children. God blessed you.✝✝✝
You are so kind
Top Estonian Mechanic. Thanks for uploading Dude cannot wait for next weeks episode.
More to come!
Fun to see more about the Soviet dozer!Look forward the the next one.
Thanks Jerry ✌
You have some nice quality tools. Knipex - Woohoo!
The best!
"Hey guys, and how you going?"................................oh, wrong guy.
I got all 3 tabs for this series called up to watch a second time.. You will be a a 100,000 in no time Andreas!!!!!
hehe hope it was worth it ! thanks again Earl
Always love watching maintenance episodes!
Super Video tolle Arbeit
Great work and content as always. One of my favorites on YT. Greetings from Houston.
Much appreciated!
Love the video buddy! Excited for Part 2!
Coming soon!
Hello from Canada
The pony motor has two crankcase drain plugs
Yes but why?
@@Ants_Pants hello
Two cylinders are used and each cylinder has a sump of their own
You can get most of the oil from one of the drainage plugs and all of the oil using both
You are very entertaining to watch and you have done a great job with the house repairs and the property maintenance
Cheers
Hello 👋🏼, my good friend, glad to see you again brother! When you post a video, it always makes my day Andris! Thanks!👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My pleasure!!
You could make a green house with that glass if you knew someone who could mill you up some lumber and posts. Wonder who could do that. You could make a site for your wife and mother to show off their gardening skills
great idea
Super , another long vid , that’s my Friday night sorted
Hope you enjoyed it!
I like your shirt! You have more patience and stamina than anyone I know. I can’t believe I am watching someone doing maintenance on a dozier but I am happily watching you, I can’t wait until your next episode. Have a wonderful weekend, take care
Thanks Deb, my patience is very limited though :D i just don't show it in my videos! :D
@@Ants_Pants You hide your limited patience well, I’m waiting to see your next episode, I’m looking forward to it! Take care
Привет Антс, отличная работа молодец эта техника в надёжных руках, удачи вам и крепкого здоровья, большое спасибо за прекрасное видео просто супер.
Thank you Sergei
Really need a hot water blaster for that crap, especially engine compartments 😆.. Thanks #3 14:10
Thank you very much bro ❤
Great engine. Smooth start and no smoke.
Right on
What a fricken mess! That was some kinda tough job! Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks Deb, mess it was yes!
Now you can make some skylights, or a greenhouse or chop some lines👍
Interesting video as usual!😊
Glad you think so!
Great video as always! I watched it a couple of days ago and then realized I hadn't left a comment (thought about it when you commented on my "big project" video,LOL). I am worried that "Old Blue" my get jealous about the amount of time you are spending with "Big Yellow".😂
haha :D i did not name it Big yellow :D though an awesome name
Hi Andries, can I just confirm that this is a ChTZ-Uraltrak T-170 bulldozer please? I have been doing some reading and this dozer is renowned for its reliability and power, so it would seem you made a very wise investment in it. There’s no two ways about it, regular maintenance is the key to keeping them going and also a great way to learn the ins and outs of your machine as now you have set benchmarks. Love your videos and there content and your comments and remarks always make me chuckle. Well done and please keep them coming. I hope your channel grows bigger for sure. Seeing you working in the snow in the past, the glass definitely needs to go towards building a glass house for winter veggies. Cheers from Australia
Yes i can confirm
Cool as allways!
Maybe you can build a greenhouse, a screen in room or a glass house for the children for winter or something with that glass
👍
I'm looking forward to seeing your decision(s).... lol
Another great job! Good work!
Thanks again!
You could make a cool ant farm with the glass, maybe an aquarium, or a giant magnifying glass to melt snow
😅
Really cool that a subscriber hooked you up with a manual for that beast. The filters are so different than machines in the states. It may also be because of the age. Great job sorting all this work out. Excellent video!
i think it's something some. Let's be honest, all soviets did back in the day was steal designs from USA and rebrand them as "soviet made" :D This dozer is actually very similar to CAT D6
@@Ants_Pants key word being similar lol
Thank you for doing this, it is so nice to see this old and reliable machines come back in shape, they sound like real machines too in that time 👍👍 I will absolutley see episode 2 and 3 when i get time.
Hope you enjoy
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you Antis. Lots of dirty work well done.
lots more to come!
Another entertaining video. Thank you and happy weekend. Dave
Thanks, you too!
That was a really good episode Andris. Phenomenal amount of problem-solving which shows your ingenuity to the max. I loved the check sheet but also so impressed with your ability to work on difficult to reach nuts, plugs and other stuff in such confined spaces. I wonder that the Soviets didn't want to have bigger spaces to make maintenance easier... Look forward to Part II. Best wishes
Yeah i thought so too.. Thanks mate
That was very informative didn’t know there was so many checks good job see ya on the next one 😊
Thanks for watching!
👍
Great work 👍💨💨
