Fitting this was difficult, because the plumbing for the property was not fully installed, so there was a 4-inch soil pipe connection under the 900mm base unit, which had to be left accessible for the plumber, this resulted in me fitting the dishwasher, then the 900mm base unit, then the other units on that wall. I then had to fit the worktop and make the cut out for the sink, then remove the dishwasher, so that the 900 base unit could be removed! I hope everyone has a great Father’s day Sunday 😉
I don't comment much, but I had to give credit to your directions and voice over. I'm a general builder about to install my own kitchen first time and only worry was the integrated dw, your video made it seem so simple I'm delighted. Will definitely be checking out your other content
On a side note, those adjustable feet on the bottom of the cupboards are so crap a few years down the line, they basically snap off for fun! One thing I've always wondered, how do you know how far through the sequence an integrated dishwasher is?
That’s a good question. I have no idea, as mine is not integrated at home. I always buy free standing appliances, as they are much easier to maintain, or replace if beyond repair! Thanks for the comment 👍
My setup is exactly like this one except the 300mm unit is missing so the dishwasher butts up to the tall unit. Do you think there will be enough space above an integrated dishwasher to add a support for the worktop, or do I need to get an additional base end panel against the tall unit end panel? Thanks! This is my first kitchen install and the only thing I am struggling with atm. I have not received my dishwasher yet
I have the same issue 2nd hand dishwasher. The tape is rubbish ..... I'll degreesed and dryed prior to just falls off. Thought that it wouldn't stick 😂
The metal plates at the top are normally for screwing the dishwasher to the under side of the worktop. If it's a stone worktop, there are holes (usually with caps) on the sides at the front to screw the dishwasher to the side cabinets on both sides. A tip for when adjusting the rear foot is to try & take the weight off the rear foot by tilting the appliance slightly forwards while turning the screw as the screw & connecting tod are plastic & easily broken/stripped. Finally, the door fixing kit usually comes with 2 metal brackets that screw onto the decco door & hook into the dishwasher door at the bottom, while side brackets that screw onto the sides of the decco door are held in place by adjusting screws (behind plastic caps) on either side of the dishwasher door.
Thanks for the detailed information. I thought the metal plates at the top were for screwing into the worktop, but they could not be used with the handle-less trim. Thanks again for the comment 👍
@@ultimatehandyman the metal plates can be swapped over left to right and the ends folded along the dotted lines to allow them to be attached to the units either side ;-)
You would have to put the dishwasher in position, then mark the height of the top panel. Remove the dishwasher and then install the top panel using some L brackets, fitted from below. Like you say, it will be difficult 👍
I always set the units so that the plinth will fit in position, without having to cut the plinth down. Obviously you need to know what flooring is being used, so that you can allow for that as well! Thanks for the comment 👍

Beautifully done...and perfect reveals! In the US, most kitchen cabinets are built-in and lacking the easy adjustments that are available in the UK
Thanks so much!
FFFT instructions supplied absolute horse poo, your video has been a great help thanks

Brilliant use of Mammoth tape, great vid as usual
Mammoth tap is absolutely awesome. I’ve used it hundreds of times and without it, some jobs would have been almost impossible 👍
Nice work - well done, Sean. I can see how door alignment could so easily trigger your OCD!
Thanks for the comment 👍
What a neat and tidy job.
Thanks for all the videos in this series.
That back leg adjustment had me pulling my hair out till I saw this. Much appreciated ❤

Great job. What about fitting the kick plate?!
Another way thats easier tgan the instructions. One question did you nit put the 2 metal hooks on the door??
No, mine was second hand and did not have any hooks 🤔

Good idea with the double sided tape 🎉 oh and do you have to put a pannel of wood on top with all dishwashers
I think you need to wood on top to prevent the dishwasher from tipping up when you open the door!
Thanks for the comment 👍
do dishwashers have a service gap. the electrics are ran behind the appliance in 16mm deep trunking. or will cables need to be chased in the wall?
superb video as usual
Thank you so much 😀
At 5:58 you install the scrap piece with the white mounting pieces. Can you let me know what's the name of that white piece (or a screwfix link)?
Never mind! Found then ynder "white assembly joints" (screwfix 25399) or also googled "white plastic shelf bracket"
Hello, can I ask, if your base module width is 600, what is the width of the door?
(I usually leave the door 4 mm narrower than the base module.)

I work in white goods & come across these all the time. The metal plates can be removed if you're not going to use them - it can save sore fingers!

How do you install that dishwasher if the countertop is installed? It must be hell. How would you install the top panel?

You forgot to put the door handle on.
This kitchen is a “handle-less kitchen”- there are no handles on anything 😉
