Thank you ...yes, I believe the clutch is the same on the 888, but I have never worked on one 🤔... it really is simple, but some people seem to make it complicated
Nice vid mate !! Very interesting find!!! I need to get some harpic for the garage!! I've found a couple of connectors on the tuono that could do with a clean-up.
I'm trying to figure mine out. 2016 Panigale 959. Stays on a charger when not riding. A few months ago I replaced the air filter. I made double sure all connections (throttle body, fuel pump, ground) were good. Bike will turn over but won't start. Check engine light is on. Can't figure it out. Battery is only a year old and, as stated, stays on the charger.
Have you tried the onboard diagnostics.. ? Press button down on left handlebar and hold it... then switch on ignition .....then this will enable diagnostics and should display ERR on the right of the screen... if so, this means there are errors recorded, and you can navigate through to see the codes.. There are many reasons for the engine to fail starting, and basically, it's either not getting a spark or fuel... ..if you have no warning lights, then you have a mechanical or electrical component fault.. if there are warning lights and error messages, then you have an incomplete electrical circuit or a sensor fault. You could start by testing the HT Leeds as I did, or you may have a coil pack that has failed...
@gunsnsails also I don't keep my bikes on a constant charge. I allow the battery to discharge a little and plug the charger every 7 days or so for 9 hours, especially if you have a lithium battery.. it is good to let them discharge a little to prolong the life of it.
@@PXCBIKES it’s running ok but got red engine light on, but I’ve taken it the garage to be plugged in but there’s no power coming from the diagnostic port
I used to use Tuner Pro... or JP Ducatidiag. But the tool used for this was just a simple OBD reader tool with the Ducati adapter lead... with this simple tool, you will only get basic fault codes, but nothing in depth
Enjoying your informative vids . A lot of the jobs I’ve gone through on my 888 however I will be revisiting the clutch . Cheers

Yeah, it is good stuff. I should get it for free now ...I bet their sales have gone through the roof 🫢
Should be sponsored by the bog cleaner, lol 😂

Oh if there is no power from the port it could be a bad ground wire to the ECU or wiring...but have you tried the onboard diagnostic
@@PXCBIKES I didn’t know it had an onboard until I watched your vid, mines 2013 model so has different dash
Clever diagnostic by you enjoying your clips you make it look so easy. Regards Dave.
You're a wizard
Ha thank you pal 👍
