- 2024 Houdini FX show reel - Decided to make a dedicated show reel for all my Houdini focused work. Included is a collection of my latest Freelance Houdini FX work. using Houdini, AE, Fusion, Redshift, Karma & Mantra. Mix of Client work and personal projects!

Excellent work buddy. I have started learning Houdini from last week. Can you suggest some good courses or tutorials?
Honestly the #sidefx TH-cam channel has a load of great content.. Besides that applied houdini and rebelway is great for specific FX topics..
That's amazing, good work! Are the rebelway fx courses good? I heard they are only pre recorded videos and not done well
Yes the rebelway courses are pre recorded videos, this works well when you need to be flexible. You do get access to a discord with direct communication to the instructed so they can give feed back on your work as you do it each week etc.. Would advise having a basic understanding of houdini before doing any course that is not for beginners. They can be fast paced.

how did you did the last shot? the fluid morphing into that shape. are you doing some blend from simulation to the geometry? Great work btw
I used a shelf tool called suction fluid force.. It allows flip Fluids to have a suction force to a target object.. It's not the easiest to use as it is a preset custom force.. It does not get the flip particles to match perfectly so I did a vdb morph at the end to help it form to the finial static state.
