He simply means, compositing is the most important in the workflow.
We all focus on Maya or Houdini, but mostly it is Nuke. And it is not about Nuke but about compositing.

When the assets like aov renders, deep renders, geometry, camera, dmp, stock fx, fx cg render with all passes are given solid then compositor does his magic.... If you see raw cg renders, plates and dmp then you'll know what comp does ... It's all teamwork no a vs b rather a and b..
