    Great stuff as always! I have almost 2k hours in eu4 and i still watch these guides cause its good content and gives me new or alternate ideas for certain nations, or sometimes just inspiration of what to try next.
    I'd love too see your take on Great Britain. Everyone and their dog is doing Angevin Empire now and I haven't seen anyone do GB yet

    Not raize jurchen provinces, when forming manchu you get all for free, plus how many banners you get, counts how many dev you had.

    You gotta form rome as the ottomans
    Achieve Mehmeds ambition
    Don't change religion though just Roman Borders
    Including north Africa
    That would look amazing

    Can you make an aragon video. I have 150ish hours in the game and I had my first half decent "proper" campaign as aragon. Basically I took all of north africa and I was making bank. It was a mercenary only run

      I have an Aragon guide. It's for the previous update, but still should mostly work. Definitely one of the strongest European nations.

    hello, I keep going fully bankrupt as manchu at least once. how do i avoid this?

    • @CoolBonobo
      @CoolBonobo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, it depends on when do you go bankrupt. If it's before becoming EOC, you just need to take max money + war reps from your neighbors (ESPECIALLY Ming). If it's after, or you just already can't repay your loans with wars, you need to downsize your army and forts, state as many provinces as possible, and try to fix trade (it's complex topic, basically conquer Siberia, make Beijing your trade capital, and conquer everything upstream)

    Wouldn’t first getting banner men then getting primacy of the banner men, make more sense?

    • @CoolBonobo
      @CoolBonobo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Long term it doesn't matter, short term it does make more sense. You wouldn't need to hire usual cavalry, so you'll have 25 ducats and 1-2 thousand manpower in the first war.

    • @freddekl1102
      @freddekl1102 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CoolBonobo Yeah I wanted to write "not even a first minute in and there's already room for easy optimalization" but now when I think about it, if you hire usual cav you're paying a bit more for worse troops, but you get them right away. So it depends whether sb feels comfortable with 11k stack for the first war

    • @CoolBonobo
      @CoolBonobo  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Depends. For WC I prefer yuan, considering you can remain horde. For "tall" game Qing is superior.

    Korean tributary is bait. If it becomes your tributary it might ally ming. It cant ally ming if it is its tributary

    • @CoolBonobo
      @CoolBonobo  ปีที่แล้ว

      It shouldn't ally Ming, because this event reduces their trust (at least it should), if they decide to become your tributary. But it may ally some chinese nation like Shun. So yeah, conquering Korea is the best decision, although free institutions do sound cool.

    • @lyonard9226
      @lyonard9226 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CoolBonobo also, conquering Korea and accepting the Korean culture gives you access to the great Korean monument which gives you an advisors discount and monarch admin points, which are both very nice modifiers and especially good if you play as the Emperor of China. Of course you also need to be Confucian to use the monument, but you become Confucian automatically when you form Qing.
