Dude, you crushed this. You have great fluidity on your arm movements with the slides on bridges, like a hot knife sinking through polyrhythmic butter. Doesn't look forced or jerky, smooth yet powerful. Keep up the love for metal bro.
Thank you kindly! 🙏 The sound is all thanks to a preset in Neural DSP's Parallax called "Vibranium Sledgehammer" with a few of my own tweaks. I highly recommend checking it out! Also, the thickness of your pick and the angle you strike the strings in matter a lot. If I remember correctly, I used a thin Dunlop pick, and I tried to kinda scrape the string at a certain angle while hitting it. Also, hit the strings hard, and kinda play through the string. Nolly has a great tutorial on this. Hope this helps!
Absolutely nailed the album tone
well done dude!!

@@hajuaalto thanks!
What tuning are you using? Amazing cover and tone btw!
I know Dick Lövgren (the bassist for Meshuggah) uses drop A# tuning (A#0 F1 A#1 D#2 G#2)
Thank you! The tuning is exactly what the other guy commented.
Nice cover!!! How do u tune the bass?
Thanks! It's tuned to A#FA#D#G# from low to high.
What is the tab?
A Guitar Pro file I downloaded from Ultimate Guitar plus some parts I had to figure out by ear.
