So many of their rhythm guitar riffs are a guitar solo doing it's best impersonation of a rhythm guitar riff. Before I found this band, I wasn't aware this is an option.
Great playing! One of my favorite Meshuggah songs. Very fun to play! Your playing is strong evidence that playing with a pick deserves huge respect. Your picking hand looks so robust and accurate, that's amazing ! Congrats for all the hard work behind what you play 👍
This playing is insane bro, that tone too, keep going on these covers man the shuggah's in an octave lower is a formidable experience. Cover fade out by carbomb isn't all bad huh? Congratulations and greetings from Brazil.
Haha, I understand what you are saying but don't agree. Atleast not when listening to a full mix, of course in my covers my bass is too loud and that makes the high notes stick out alot.
They’re very versatile basses, people just process them a very specific way for this kind of metal and that’s what Dingwall and Darkglass focus on in their marketing, for better or worse. I can get a lot of different tones out of mine - hilariously, I’ve never quite been able to get this specific sound out of it - but don’t let the tone you see in 99% of metal videos turn you off, because they’re great instruments that can do a lot more than that.
Good shit man! My favorite meshuggah song! If I could make a request could you look into doing the meshuggah song organic shadows? I think it's an underrated track. Peace! 🤘
I have been thinking about covering this song for long now, glad I finally did it. I have to check that song out, I don't even recognize the title if I am totally honest 😄 to be continued
4:02 onward is so epic!
I’ve tried covering this before. I have to admire Dick Lövgren because DAMN he’s a machine for playing this live. His picking technique is flawless
Couldn't agree more 👏

Oh man! Car Bomb is so good but one of the most difficult band to cover. We'll see If I can do more Car Bomb songs.

Big thanks! Looking forward to more Shuggah covers or other bands? 😄

Monstrous.
Hard song!!!!!
Ooooof I wanna love those dingwalls but can’t get over the clingy overtones 😫
Anything higher that the low B string kills my soul in a bad way 🥺
