As someone who was a victim of a predator at a young age, I have no sympathy for any kind of predator. They were intending to completely destroy and permanently traumatize children for their entire lives. They absolutely deserve to have everything taken away from them.

I'm curious in the not too far past like 14-15 was seen as ripe marriage age. Of course back then lower life spans etc. But I'm curious on what changed, why is it now considered bad, besides the law which I'm well aware most people just base their morals off law, but that's not a good explanation to me as law reflects societies values. Nor am I aware of any negative side effects because if there are negative side effects then we have to assume most of our ancestors which marriage typically took place as the guys older and women younger, so I guess they all were mentally ill by our definitions. I feel like people don't question these things cause it's taboo, but there are questions to be asked on why we view things as bad. But it devolves into personal attacks for questioning the norm. No I don't encourage it, I genuinely don't care I'm curious on why things are the way they are, the actions themselves to me are meaningless. So anyone got an explanation? How could what once not be seen as a big deal turn into "we should kill people who are attracted to younger girls".

I don't think they're even remotely capable of establishing an independent critical thought especially where morality is concerned. Some unhappy, unwelcome truth of humanity they're way more comfortable demonizing as a means to draw a distinction between. Nevermind the impact it has on their whole families, friends, and people who depend on them. These people can wake up tomorrow and move on with their lives. The best thing that can happen to one of the guys in this video is if they never existed. Basically eternal hell on earth.

They would make it out the front or back door but thrn get tackled and arrested on camera. It was beautiful. I only remember like 2 or 3 actually making a run for it. You can definitely tell in the earlier tapings of the show that getting arrested didn't seem to cross a lot of these guy's minds, as you hear them only express concern over friends and family seeing the taping. At the beginning of the show the first 2 investigations did not work directly with police just shared the evidence. Anyone aware of the dateline segments would have thought that was all there was to worry about at least in the immediate sense. Now they have anxiety to even leave knowing what is to come.
One thing that I always found fascinating was the responses to the question "what do you think should happen to you?". So many of them use the exact words "lesson learned" while saying they should just get to walk away without consequences. I don't know why that phrase stands out to me so much but my ears perk up every time they say it.
Or the fact when they say "i wasnt gonna do anything", and "this is my 1st time" that always crack me up

The thing about these guys that's so meta, almost too meta for me to process is if you're one of them, your ENTIRE life, ALMOST from start to finish is a complete lie. What do I mean by that? Well, your job, is not your job... cause no one would ever hire you. Your "friends" are not your friends, because no one would ever be your friend. You're unemployable... You're less than human... You have no career; you have no opportunities for advancement in life on ANY level... because no one would have you. Did you ever really exist? No, because your whole life was a lie.
As someone whos dealt with enough crackheads, it’s weird to kind of have that realization that not a single one of these apologies is legitimate, and no matter how bad you ruin their lives they will always be predators and will simply learn to hide the desire. Knowing the backstory of this guy, we know that he groomed the girl for a while, he knew what he was doing was very illegal, and he thought of possible ways to get around the law with what he had planned. He then gets caught and has the nerve to act like *_HE_* is the victim, hoping that Chris and the camera crew will feel sympathy for him and maybe even help him get out of the house without being arrested. Some of these predators probably, legitimately didn't realize that what they were doing online was against the law, but the math tutor did know. He cannot in any way claim ignorance or mistake or misunderstanding. He was an evil person, and it is great that his life was ruined.

You leave the state as youre barely 18, you go tell your father for help, your Mum and sister lie to your father, you end up in an asylum dribbling from the overdose of meds Drs are giving you because your father thinks youre delusional.
I am incredibly empathic, please, dont ever feel the slightest amount of empathy for these people.
The girl in the story committed suicide at 24, it was all too much too young. She was taken off life support after liver failure caused her to become brain dead, she died in her big brothers arms, a life let go, a spirit led away with a river from her life long protectors tears.

Predators know their prey. When I was 9 my friends parents knew my dad was molesting me. They used that to molest me as well. They told me they would tell authorities about my dad molesting me if told about what they were doing. My dad had me terrified of CPS. So kept me quite until he beat my brother. I turned him into CPS when I was 15. He and my Aunt had CPS convinced that I was just trying to live with a friend. They took the diary CPS told me to keep and destroyed it. When it came to questioning the case workers sat my Dad directly across from me and my aunt who was on his side to the left of me. The caseworkers sat at the other end of the table. They read the allegations I made against him. Then asked me if they were true. I looked at my dad. Then I looked at the case workers then back into my dads eyes and said ," yes every bit of it is true." He told them to take me he was not going to lose his sons because his daughter is a liar. I knew I would not be able to see our protect my brother in any kind of way. So I said I made it up. It was about protecting my brother. So I endured longer. A year later a friend caught my Dad watching me take a bath. My friend stayed at my house every night until I moved. My dad did not say a word and it finally ended. Then my family went on to make sure I paid for speaking. Through it all the stain I carried that was never mine was being called a liar and no one believing me. My family does not know or care that my uncle and others did this to me as well. Just a couple siblings and my oldest son who found out. When people choose to love the predator over the prey it is devastating. It does ruin lives. It creates homeless addicts who are further abused by the public. I found refuge in Nature. There I healed and found the spirit within giving life. I Am Woman and I am stronger than they ever were to endure such hate and still have the ability to love correctly and give life in the spirit they tried to tear down. I win! They lose!

The people who I do feel sorry for is their families. They now need to come to terms with the fact that someone they have loved and cared about more than anything for years is a monster, that they cared more about harming a child than they ever did about them.

I'm one of the little girls who was molested by a grown man. Their actions destroy lives. At 64 years old I've finally come to a place of letting go and making the right choices. I could never understand why I behaved like I did but finally came to realize what it was all about. I still don't trust most people though, especially men. Sometimes seeing the slightest seemingly innocent interaction between a grown man and a little girl triggers a reaction inside of me and I more often than not wander if that little girl is being sexually abused too.

Yesterday when I was on the bus some guy was making conversation with this lady's little girl and immediately I thought that his intentions might be nefarious. Many years ago during a summer day I was sitting in a neighborhood park that had a wading pool for children. This big fat guy who looked like a stereotypical pedo, dressed in a wife beater and loose shorts, was standing there watching the children with a big smile on his face. I'm thinking to myself I hope that the parents are keeping a close watch on this guy. I also got the same vibes from a guy who was sitting by me in an internet cafe while he was watching videos of babies.
