@@mookitty2396 Nope, it happens. Humans of new york interviewed a mother who was oblivious to the fact that her husband was molesting their daughter. As soon as the daughter told her mom she turned him over to the police and was the immediate subject of ridicule. You never know in these situations all you can do is look at the next steps the spouse takes.
I think I can almost guarantee that after this, she stuck with him. After all, he got away with what he did! And most men can get their spouses to believe anything, with enough work. Even though everything he did was documented, all he had to do was slip her some slick line about entrapment and she'd swallow it hook, line and sinker. I'm not saying women are stupid, just very vulnerable when it comes to their relationships. No woman wants to believe their life partner's a sex predator.
My guess would be that it wasn’t a good marriage. Probably not terrible but she likely thought she could deal with him just being vaguely a shitty person, to avoid whatever antics a divorce would bring about. People who knowingly harm a child for their own pleasure aren’t capable of real love, and they can only pretend to be for so long.

I’m not sure why people would be surprised by people not wanting to face reality. The adrenaline going through their veins must be excruciating. Their brain is just constantly trying to simultaneously cope and look for ways out of the mess. It’s a natural reaction to the adrenaline that got dumped on them. Fight or flight is a real thing and their ability for flight is gone. So all their brain can do is try to fight. It’s gotta be a really heavy situation to be in, I can’t blame them for trying.

There's a lot going on there. Be mindful of who you introduce. You're not legally responsible for how those two people interact, but you can ruin someone's life by say, inviting a minor and a struggling man in the same room. It may end up in prison for the man who did not uphold his integrity.

I dont feel any sympathy for what these guys are going through. However I find it fascinating watching the various predators go through the many range of emotions when they find out their lives are ruined.

I will never understand people like this. They’re so conceited and worried about themselves that they continue to put their lives first. They put their needs first when they were willing to commit unlawful acts with a child, and continue to put their well being first when crying about their lives being ruined. I have no sympathy. They had no problem showing up to ruin a child’s life but can’t handle the situation once the tables have turned. Lock them up!
