Those knives are novelty chinese stamped knives advertised as japanese knives. The same company Huusk knives keeps rebranding them because they keep getting exposed. Save your money and get a higher quality real japanese knife for around $100 that will last you decades if you dont mind sharpening from time to time.

Being very very careful about ordering this knife since -
1, they will ask your payment method information
2, they will allow you to click the knife and other items
3, at this moment, you will not able to find any “check out” click or “cancel” click, you are OVER ! Even if you close the window, you will receive the email about your order information.
You want to call the customer service? No way! They will tell you they are too busy!
You want to send an email to cancel? No way! They will tell you the same thing - they are too busy to respond!
You want to return the order? No way! They have sooooo many ways to make it soooo hard to do so!

    A rant incoming.
This knife has absolutely nothing to do with Japan.
This is not a Japanese chef's knife. This is so called "Huusk" knife made in China. Some company designed these when Viking craze was a thing (movies and so on). The Viking craze has ended so now these knives become "Japanese chef knives". The company claims that these are hand-made by smiths using traditional methods and materials. Both of these statements are lies. This is made by machine from bad quality steel. These knives were tested, they are just bad. Difficult to sharpen and losing the edge really fast. It's branded by a Latvian company and sold all over with 70% discounts. It's not worth it's price. Have you ever seen a traditional Japanese knife that looks like this piece of steel?
Ps. Wash a chef's knife in dishwasher?? Who does that??

@@rockstarrecipes9477 correct. In no way is this a hood knife, it’s practically cast material. And it’s extremely poor quality. You can get better for the money by far. Those are made to market to people who don’t know what to look for. It’s kinda a complicated skeem that was made by a large company to buy those knifes from China for Pennie’s and sell them for ridiculous prices. And everything about them is fake and garbage. I’m sorry you may have bought this :( invest in a victorinox kitchen knife or something would be my recommendation.
(Edit: I’m trying to be positive but it’s hard. Look up Cedric and ada ‘s Hussk knifes video on these(same knife rebranded because hussk has been cracked and found out)
Pete makes a great point about everything and goes into why it’s a scam. Very good channel if you want to understand knifes a bit. And I in no way intended to post this to shoot ya down or anything just important for people to know it’s a scam so they them self don’t fall for the scam.
