Before clicking on it, I was drawn in by the curious dark artwork-no band's name, no album title. That mysterious vibe immediately caught my interest. Once again, the algorithm delivered, and as usual, it didn’t disappoint. This is exactly the kind of lore I needed in my head. Thank you for the best 40 minutes and 13 seconds of my week.
as someone with a persistent, constant paranoia that no one in my life actually likes me (due to my trauma. I did not have a good childhood, and a common trauma response is your brain tries to rationalize it by making you think you deserved everything thst happened to you. that all those horrible things he said about you where true, even if you know they're not and that you didn't deserve it. logic does not help) I liked hearing this. I hope one day I'm strong enough to believe it above everything he told me I was

When I first saw it on my feed, I foud the artwork to be quite uneasy, much because of the colours and the expression on this unicorn's face, but the more I looked at it, the more I realized that it had more of a strange, dreamy yet frightening, almost ethereal aura. It does look like some kind of dream or nightmare, and I think it the same vibes of fairy tales in their original versions: dark and frightening stories made to teach children about the world. Magical and, at the same time, nightmarish. And it tells a story, too. Where is this unicorn going? Why is there a woman mounted on it, and where is she going? Why does the animal look so fearful? What place is this? And why am I here? It feels like I was suddenly thrown in the middle of something so big and strange that's happening all around me, but I can only see the immediate part that I was exposed to. Like when you move to a new city and there's so much new and strange happening, you don't know anyone and you're just there, inserted in a whole new story without being part of it. It feels like I wasn't supposed to see this.
All of my thoughts while listening to this because I couldn't decide on one comment *Louis griffin voice* whoever you are, thank you. This sounds like chernobyl/radioactive horror. This sounds like what it feels like reading a good creepypasta. I feel like this is what would play when you're getting hunted by a horrible monster you don't know the face of while you're lost in a snowy forest. Those mlp infection au creators would love this

What an absolute gem! Decreptitude V could be a whole 1 hour album on its own, it kinda reminds me of a dark lonely christmas, a dark room with a only few candles lighting it up, silence, solitude.
